The Resort at Pelican Hill caused a sensation when it opened in 2008. Situated along the Pacific Ocean, the luxurious resort features luxurious architecture, ocean views, and a beautiful space, the Event Lawn Rotunda, that frequently serves as an unforgettable setting for weddings. This celebration, photographed by Katie Beverley, was one of our favorites at the Resort. Four grand floral pillars topped with orbs of roses framed the ceremony area. A white carpet aisle was lined with our floral aisle borders of pink, burgundy, and white flowers. For the reception, elegant candelabras and floral arrangements lined the long tables. We brought a jolt of color without marring the soft neutrals of the ivory and pink palette, by using maroon-lined calla... Read More

When two people promise to wed, it’s a cause for celebration! This engagement party, at Calamigos Ranch, combined classic decor with clever personalization. Our favorite touch was the bright pink neon sign with the couples’ hash tag. The color palette featured light pink, white, and cool lime green, creating a springlike feel. Our green taper candles in hurricanes and gleaming silver lanterns alternated with flowers on long tables, as well as dramatic long ‘bridge’ floral pieces, adorned with gleaming, fairly-lit bulbs. Check out the modern donut wall in the background! Always a guest favorite, we topped the wall with greenery for a decorative accent. A lush piece of amaranthus, roses, and textural greens highlight the oh-so-clever neon sign. VENDORS: Floral... Read More

For this wedding, held at the iconic Beverly, Hilton, the bride and groom wanted full, elegant displays featuring roses, orchids, and pops of babys breath, and a huge installation of florals above the dance floor. The result: Romantic, chic event design. Jessica Claire’s photos capture the glamour, from start to finish. Candles lined the aisle in the ceremony space. Branches of cherry blossom and rustic elements created this stunning chuppah. Delicate glass bulbs hung down from tall stands of orchids and babys breath on the long tables in the ballroom. A mix of tall centerpieces and lower arrangements alternated throughout the space. Palace Party Rental’s chairs alternated between gold and white. A dramatic installation of orchids and babys breath –... Read More

At this Malibu Rocky Oaks wedding, our couple wanted a fresh, natural look, mixed with upscale touches – collections of chic candles, bespoke glassware, and rose gold elements. Planner Shelli Armstrong expertly brought it all together for a stunning event. A crown-like circle of greenery rimmed the ceremony platform, flanked with wood pillars and compote arrangements. The sweetheart table featured lush urn arrangements set atop wood pillars. Rich floral runners of eucalpytus and ivory roses spilled over rustic wood tables. How perfect are these salt and pepper cellars with the tiny service spoons? The table settings feature copper-rose gold and marble-style elements, and an adorable bloom of ivory rose on each charger. We draped greenery and white orchids on Malibu... Read More

Many of the weddings we design host literally hundreds of people – huge events with lots of guests. But some of the smaller, more intimate affairs are just as innovative design-wise as our larger events. For this wedding of less than 75 guests, the couple wanted to add architectural designs to their florals, and we were happy to oblige, from the circle of roses behind the couple – that later accented the cake table – to the lush flower wall behind the sweetheart table. As always, we enjoyed working with the confident and capable Katie Lee from Bella Destinee, and photographer Andy Seo. Gold chairs by Palace Party Rental vibed perfectly with the soft whites and ivories of the florals.... Read More
