What seem like small details add up to impactful design statements at wedding ceremonies. For Michelle and Ryan’s event, we criss-crossed orchids along the structural supports of their wedding chuppah for a beautiful diamond pattern, emblematic of the bride’s engagement ring and symbolic of their lives joining forever. We worked with a palette of crisp white with mirrored accents, including the chic mirror seating ‘chart’. Inside the reception space – draped to set off the drama of the decor – we lined tables with sumptuous centerpieces and garlands of white florals, cascading down to the floor. Calla lilies have long been popular for wedding and event decor, with their sculptural, trumpet-like shape. While their symbolism varies, callas mainly represent life, an affirming meaning especially for a wedding – as two people join together for a new life ahead. Kasey and Evan planned a small wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach, and envisioned the classic elegance of callas for their celebration. We twisted baby callas in hurricanes of water, fashioned large, grand centerpieces of multiple vases of the flowers, and lined the existing bar at the Montage with a stunning all-calla display. A grand staircase. A chuppah fringed with wind-catching flowers. A manicured lawn with a stunning view. Private homes, like the estate where Natalie and Alen wed, offer unique opportunities to our creative team. The property featured wide expanses of lawn and landscaping, allowing us to build a grand chuppah with lengths of orchids to freely move with the breeze. Inside the property, the foyer staircase became the perfect first-look location; we lined the rail with a luxurious layer of white flowers, including roses and orchids. A generous urn piece of white roses stood directly under the house’s stunning chandelier for a picture-perfect start to the bride and groom’s big day. Hidden away in a private home, Shai and Candice wed surrounded by family and friends for a springtime wedding reminiscent of a secret English garden. Our lush arches and setpieces gave the event a quietly elegant feel; weaving in roses, various greenery, and even lemons imbued our design with an organic, natural look – as if each centerpiece was gathered from the backyard, yet arranged with sense of refinement. The ceremony featured a large arch and aisle pieces; the eclectic, vintage-style white chairs added texture and romance to the setup.
