For Ellie and Moti’s big day at the Four Seasons Westlake, they wanted a modern and high-impact backdrop for their sweetheart table. We arranged our custom gold candleholders and clusters of white flowers and baby’s breath on a white stage provided by Hollywood Event Rentals. It’s unique touches like the backdrop that make a couple’s wedding stand apart and reflect their individual tastes. We also created an asymmetrical centerpiece for the escort table, and a chuppah dripping with orchids for an airy feel. We kept the ceremony space fresh and springlike, with white flowers along the aisle accented by greenery. When you think of florals, you often think of beautiful flowers arranged in a clear vase. But in the floral and event design world, there are tons of different kinds of containers for arrangements, not just clear glass. Chelsea and Hank wanted to play with a variety of materials for their event design – they wanted pottery, metal vases, and even standalone wood pieces for their decor. We worked with terra cotta and cement pots and urns, as well as a variety of other containers, for this sophisticated wedding at Saddlerock Ranch. When you have a stunning backdrop for your ceremony like the ocean view at Bel Air Bay Club, it’s all about highlighting the surroundings, not distracting from them. Danielle and Casey wanted a crisp, lush blend of white flowers and lots of greenery, a simple palette that let the ceremony space truly shine. We created a full, textural chuppah with lots of white roses and greenery – including ruscus and lemon leaf – atop a modern white stage. At cocktail hour, our photobooth backdrop and fountain featured more classic white roses and greenery for a consistent palette.
