A Night of Glamour at Fairmont Century Plaza

November 4, 2023 12:10 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

White is a powerfully neutral color, allowing the personality and glamour of an event to truly shine. For Dina and Baron’s wedding at the Fairmont Century Plaza, we created classic arrangements with lots of white roses. Along with the plethora of candelabras lining the reception tables and the stunning chuppah dressed with orchids and more roses, lots and lots of candles added a romantic gleam. The wedding was a stunning display of timeless beauty, and we were delighted to be a part of it! Venue: Fairmont Century City Planner: Becker and The Co. Luxe Romance at Bel Air Bay Club

Blush, ivory and gold make for a light, yet luxe, color palette, especially for a wedding at such a stunning property as the Bel Air Bay Club. We created a lovely frame to the couple’s gorgeous sofreh with tall centerpieces with composed round arrangements; and larger arrangements at the end of the aisle. In the ballroom, we complimented gleaming mirrored tables and upholstered, gold-trimmed chairs with cascades of roses spilling over long tables. Tall centerpieces in tightly composed arrangements stood on the round tables. And the sweetheart table was over-the-top gorgeous with a lush display of more florals. As always, pillar and votive candles completed the look, adding a romantic glamour to the ballroom. Check out more lovely gorgeousness, below!... Read More

A Romantic Garden Setting at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

October 20, 2023 1:57 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

What a dreamy wedding! This Hummingbird Nest Ranch celebration was full of soft romance, from our multiple round arches framing the ceremony to the arrangements in pretty stone pots down the aisle, to the awe-inducing canopy of greenery and roses in the reception tent. Clara and Noah wanted a light palette of blush, pink, and ivory, accented by a generous heaping of greenery. We also added the arrangements in individual concrete pots finished in a rustic ivory, as if they were taken from the garden of an English estate. The arch motif continued in the reception tent, where arches were placed over guest tables and behind the sweetheart table. Collections of vases holding roses; alstilbe; and lisianthus lined the tables,... Read More

Pink, White, and Super-Chic Black at Fairmont Grand Del Mar

This chic and luxurious wedding featured a gorgeous sofreh laid out in front of an archway bordered in pink and ivory roses. The bride and groom, Emaan and Jenny, sat on the sofreh surrounded by beautiful symbolic items and more lovely, lush blooms of vivid fuchsia, hot pink, blush, and white. Inside, the ballroom stunned guests with curtains of crystals, expertly draped backdrops, and a stylish glossy black dance floor. The space looked like an upscale, VIP-only nightclub. Our centerpieces added that all important luxe touch, echoing the color palette of the ceremony with more dramatic pinks – and lots of candles encased in crystal. The coolest part of this design? The black details! The addition of this color –... Read More

Vividly Beautiful at Calamigos Ranch

September 28, 2023 9:58 am Published by Leave your thoughts

For this multicultural wedding, we created a tasteful design in vivid red. We softened this intense color with lots of greenery and ivory. The grooms, Darren and Nima, chose the gorgeous Calamigos Ranch as their wedding venue, and our red roses really popped against the rustic backdrop of the setting. The ceremony featured aisle decor of greenery like eucalyptus, and ivory and red roses. The ceremony arch was a stunner: more greenery, white flowers, and red flowers, in an alternating pattern that provided a high-impact focal point to the wedding. The arch also beautifully framed the sofreh, designed by Elegant Sofreh Design. The reception featured deep crimson flowers like ranunculus, and we created a draping ornamentation of lots of greenery... Read More

Tailored Romance at the San Francisco Design Center

September 20, 2023 2:16 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

The San Francisco Design Center is an ideal backdrop for an event, with its streamlined architecture and highceilings. Shivani and Milap kept the palette perfect for the Center’s white walls and blond wood, asking us to work with soft, romantic colors, like blush and ivory. We also wove in lots of greenery, but still kept the overall look tailored, so as not to overwhelm the modern feel of the space. So, while our arch and centerpieces featured tons of texture, they were were still composed with a careful balance of color and texture. We also wove in vivid red astilbe into the bride’s bouquet to echo her stunning wedding attire, and other details—like the stripes of chic black in white... Read More

The Reflection of Glamour at Saddlerock Ranch

September 12, 2023 11:53 am Published by Leave your thoughts

There’s nothing like a little glam to add excitement and fun to a wedding design. For Rebecca and Ryan, we provided a mirror-covered chuppah bordered with orchids to give that lovely touch of glamour. We surrounded the chuppah’s posts with candles in glass hurricanes for a romantic feel. Mirrored tables and chargers literally reflected our cool white florals in the reception space. A mix of tall and short floral arrangements lined the long tables. White draping surrounded it all to set off the crisp, modern aesthetic. The showstopper was our massive ceiling installation of long, lush orchids. Even though it was the middle of the summer, the all-white mirrored glam made it feel like an idyllic winter wonderland. Spring-like Beauty at the Banker’s Ballroom

September 5, 2023 1:23 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

This wedding combined a fresh, spring-like feel with the ornate decadence of the Banker’s Ballroom in Fresno. Gorgeous, long burgundy curtains and gold ceiling molding set an opulent scene in the space. Matching this look with the floral design could appear too heavy, so our team created arrangements of greenery and white flowers that, while no less dramatic than their surroundings, offered an elegant yet airy feel to the room. At the church, we provided gorgeous urn pieces overflowing with ruscus greenery and matching aisle pieces that hung on every other pew. The bride’s bouquet was bursting with fresh, puffy peonies. Back at the ballroom, a massive head table (for the nearly two-dozen bridal party attendants!) was decked out in... Read More

A Fall Wedding with Natural Charm

July 18, 2023 9:32 am Published by Leave your thoughts

A fall wedding brings to mind rich autumnal colors, like copper, terra cotta, and goldenrod. For Mercedes and Kyle’s wedding at a private home, we created a gorgeous design full of vibrant textures and shades that brought both a natural charm and easy elegance to their celebration. The backyard of the home featured a pool, and we floated curves of rose petals in golden-yellow and burnt orange. We also lined a rustic wood aisle with arrangements of wildflowers, roses, and greenery in orange, red, coral, and even touches of blue. The dining tables featured tall centerpieces of rustic branches, greenery, and flowers. We also scattered pots in complimentary colors including copper and bronze. A delightful surprise: pots of mini peppers,... Read More

Secluded Romance in Ojai

Ojai has a magic feel to it – you’re just a couple hours from the city of Los Angeles, but it feels like it’s in another universe. Lots of rolling hills and an amazing countryside give the property a romantic seclusion – the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. For Dina and Mark’s wedding at the Ojai Valley Inn, we kept things pretty and light with white flowers and greenery. From the hedge behind their seating chart to greenery forming a diamond pattern for a band backdrop, all that foliage gave an organic yet elegant feel to the event. Our chuppah was a grand, stunning structure covered with a varied pattern of greenery and featuring pops of white flowers. Draping... Read More
