Black, White, and Rustic at Saddlerock Ranch

Unlikely combinations of colors and textures are what we LIVE for here at Butterfly! When Shirin and Arsalan wanted to bring in black to a rustic theme at their Saddlerock Ranch wedding, we were 100% in.

We made the black element work by keeping the rest of the color palette simple: White with greenery. Greenery bought in the rustic texture, and white gave the black a clean-cut, pristine counterpoint. We wound ruscus and white flowers around black arches on their ceremony aisle, and kept the greenery at a minimum for their all-white centerpieces in the reception.

This monochromatic approach at the reception let the rustic wood of their tables really shine. The black napkins and chairs at the reception tables – non-floral decorative elements – added a modern accent to the look. Everything blended together in a perfect combination.

We did add some greenery for a sense of drama at two rectangular tables. We set arches overflowing with fauna above both tables. The perfect touch for a perfect wedding!
