MIssion Bay is a waterway in San Diego, a picturesque area perfect for weddings. Michelle and JR’s wedding ceremony was not only by this beautiful bay, thanks to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina – but their reception took place near another body of water: the pool area of a gorgeous private home! We complimented their venues with reflective clear features – like crystals hanging down an acrylic chuppah. We also wove in tons of white to create this light and airy wedding design. The ceremony featured the stunning chuppah, accented with not only lots of clear crystals, but a rich adornment of orchids along the top. Clear chiavari chairs perfectly complemented the acrylic chuppah. The reception featured... Read More

What seem like small details add up to impactful design statements at wedding ceremonies. For Michelle and Ryan’s event, we criss-crossed orchids along the structural supports of their wedding chuppah for a beautiful diamond pattern, emblematic of the bride’s engagement ring and symbolic of their lives joining forever. We worked with a palette of crisp white with mirrored accents, including the chic mirror seating ‘chart’. Lillian and Isaac didn’t want a soft, subtle palette for their wedding – instead they asked for a bold and daring look with this combination of vivid reds, purples, and pinks, and eye-catching accents of pampas grass. This intensified color palette fit perfectly into the Langham Pasadena ballroom, with its gorgeous chandeliers and arched ceiling. The chuppah stretched the entire stage, flanked with amaranthus, roses, and various greenery. The mirrored legs of the chuppah allowed the colors to pop on their own. We used antique-style metal pedestals and vases for the reception pieces, and bridged long tables with stunning overhead arrangements of roses, hydrangea, and pepper tree. We’re so grateful to the bride and groom for collaborating with us on... Read More

Simply scroll down through the amazing shots of this special event captured by Dmitry Shumanev Production. The ceremony, held outdoors, was incredibly modern with a stunning acrylic chuppah topped with a wide border of baby’s breath. The backside of the chuppah was enclosed with a wall of greenery where contrasting arrangements of crisp white orchids sat in front to complete the backdrop. An acrylic arch, along with glass vases and transparent chairs, combined with stunning waves of baby’s breath lining the aisle, created a classy and polished setting. Mr.C‘s... Read More
