For this multicultural wedding, we created a tasteful design in vivid red. We softened this intense color with lots of greenery and ivory. The grooms, Darren and Nima, chose the gorgeous Calamigos Ranch as their wedding venue, and our red roses really popped against the rustic backdrop of the setting. The ceremony featured aisle decor of greenery like eucalyptus, and ivory and red roses. The ceremony arch was a stunner: more greenery, white flowers, and red flowers, in an alternating pattern that provided a high-impact focal point to the wedding. The San Francisco Design Center is an ideal backdrop for an event, with its streamlined architecture and highceilings. Shivani and Milap kept the palette perfect for the Center’s white walls and blond wood, asking us to work with soft, romantic colors, like blush and ivory. We also wove in lots of greenery, but still kept the overall look tailored, so as not to overwhelm the modern feel of the space. So, while our arch and centerpieces featured tons of texture, they were were still composed with a careful balance of color and texture. Ojai has a magic feel to it – you’re just a couple hours from the city of Los Angeles, but it feels like it’s in another universe. Lots of rolling hills and an amazing countryside give the property a romantic seclusion – the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. For Dina and Mark’s wedding at the Ojai Valley Inn, we kept things pretty and light with white flowers and greenery. Design is not just about pretty flowers and stunning decor, but about placement of these elements. For Sivart and Adam’s wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel, a stunning tableau was created by placing the sweetheart table – an elegantly upholstered piece by MTB Rentals – in front of the cake table. Then, we framed this vision with cascades of greenery and white, as well as two pedestals of large urn pieces on either side of the cake. The result is an artful composition with depth and perspective, as well as gorgeous texture thanks to the greenery. A ballroom reception accented with trees creates a high-impact look that always wows guests. For Bita and Neema’s Beverly Wilshire wedding, we brought in pepper trees and wove pepper tree branches into their tall centerpieces, too. Fuchsia, pink, and blush roses accented the space with beautiful color. The overall look was romantic, dramatic, and bold. For the ceremony, we bordered the glossy white dance floor with lots of pink baby’s breath, providing a dreamy look for the vows and accenting the sentimental feel of the sofreh. One of our specialties is creating lush overhead installations of florals. Usually, you need a ballroom ceiling to do that type of thing! But working with the right vendors, we can create such drama anywhere. In this case, we worked with Town & Country Event Rentals to accent Alexandra and Mattan’s dance floor at their venue, Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Town and Country created a framework of trussing for us so we could safely attach our florals, and the result was a stunning installation of white orchids with accents of greenery. For many weddings, the wedding chuppah is the first thing guests see and presents an opportunity to make a big impact with wedding design. Most importantly, the chuppah is an important symbol of Jewish weddings. We try to make every chuppah special and unique, and for Nicole and Mateen’s Saddlrock Ranch wedding, we created a large, lush structure to shelter the couple and their family during their wedding vows. Tree trunks supported the chuppah, and each corner held full greenery and flowers; the chuppah looked as if it were created by four trees. Lush, extravagant greenery surrounded guests at Therese and Danny’s wedding at Vibiana. From arches all along long tables to adorning Vibiana’s beautiful altar with garlands of greens, the space turned into a wondrous garden oasis. We created lovely white rose and greenery compote pieces for individual tables, as well as garlands of the same mix of florals for the long tables, tippling over into luxurious cascades. The couple took great advantage of the space by setting up lounge areas. In the cocktail space, we created compote pieces for cocktail tables and crowned a fun backddrop with florals and greenery. Yael and Coby’s Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding took full advantage of the outdoor setting. A clear tent allowed guests to still see the starry sky at night, and the ceremony backdrop was a stunning view of the mountains. Wildflower aisle pieces and dreamy, airy white flowers and branches on the chuppah added to the classic but outdoorsy feel. We accented the white florals with blush candle sticks along the dining tables, which vibed perfectly with the gold dinnerware and blush glassware. Carondelet House is one of the most distinctive venues in Los Angeles. The building is a former residence of an architect – and it shows. Tons of unique details abound, from the rich brick walls to the warm wood beams overhead to the charming little courtyard in the middle of the space. It’s no surprise wedding couples flock to Carondelet House to celebrate their weddings. Donna and Michael wanted a rustic but artful design; we created an asymmetrical border of greenery and orchids for a stunning framework to their vows.
