The Beverly Hilton features not only the ballroom where the Golden Globes and other prestigious events take place, but gorgeously neutral ballrooms for special celebrations, too. Aleen and Anthony chose one of these ballrooms for their very own prestigious event – their wedding! Gleaming gold was everywhere, from the glossy dance floor to the cutlery to the chargers. Our all-white floral palette aligned perfectly with the golden luster. We installed hanging roses and orchids above the dance floor, and garlands and cascades of white roses unfurled off of guest and sweetheart tables. The combination of gold and pink offers a mix of luxe and lush, both a soft touch and a distinct shot of glamour. Jamie and Ben wanted a perfect mix of blush and gold for their wedding at the Thunderbird Country Club. We also mixed in white and ivory to blend it all together into one gorgeous wedding. The ceremony arch and pedestals were in clear acrylic to add a modern flair to the overall design. A monochromatic color scheme brings balance to this wedding, which took place in a luxurious private estate. Marina and Yusef surrounded their guests in gold, from the rims on the chargers to the tall stands of our florals. We balanced all this gold with tons of ivory roses and flowers, and clear candelabras. Chairs with rich bronze swag offered a totally upscale, elegant look along with the etched glassware and soft gold shantung linens under mirrored table tops. While unashamedly luxe, the combination of textures and the pure ivory palette of the flowers (with just a few touches of blush here and there) brought an understated elegance to the entire look. Many of the weddings we design host literally hundreds of people – huge events with lots of guests. But some of the smaller, more intimate affairs are just as innovative design-wise as our larger events. For this wedding of less than 75 guests, the couple wanted to add architectural designs to their florals, and we were happy to oblige, from the circle of roses behind the couple – that later accented the cake table – to the lush flower wall behind the sweetheart table. As always, we enjoyed working with the confident and capable Katie Lee from Bella Destinee, and photographer Andy Seo. Gold chairs by Palace Party Rental vibed perfectly with the soft whites and ivories of the florals.... Read More
