The Perfect Place for Everything at Beverly Hills Hotel

June 13, 2023 5:16 pm

Design is not just about pretty flowers and stunning decor, but about placement of these elements. For Sivart and Adam’s wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel, a stunning tableau was created by placing the sweetheart table – an elegantly upholstered piece by MTB Rentals – in front of the cake table. Then, we framed this vision with cascades of greenery and white, as well as two pedestals of large urn pieces on either side of the cake. The result is an artful composition with depth and perspective, as well as gorgeous texture thanks to the greenery. Elsewhere throughout their wedding and reception we continued the theme of fresh white flowers with rich vivid greenery, including the church aisle flowers, urns,... Read More

Drama and Romance at Beverly Wilshire

May 25, 2023 3:52 pm

A ballroom reception accented with trees creates a high-impact look that always wows guests. For Bita and Neema’s Beverly Wilshire wedding, we brought in pepper trees and wove pepper tree branches into their tall centerpieces, too. Fuchsia, pink, and blush roses accented the space with beautiful color. The overall look was romantic, dramatic, and bold. For the ceremony, we bordered the glossy white dance floor with lots of pink baby’s breath, providing a dreamy look for the vows and accenting the sentimental feel of the sofreh. Tall pink centerpieces with gold vases to match the gold elements of the sofreh completed the look. We adore creating a sense of drama for both the ceremony and reception, and were so happy... Blushing Beauty at Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey

May 19, 2023 10:22 am

The ceremony and reception space at the Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey welcomes a neutral, pretty, blush-pink vibe. Inspired, the bride and groom asked us to design beautiful, blush-y florals. The ceremony was perfect elegance with cascading blush and ivory florals along the existing gazebo at the Ritz. We also created a beautiful curlicue design on the ceremony lawn and grand centerpieces at the beginning of the aisle. In the reception ballroom, we lined the head table with collections of pink, blush and ivory florals, and tall centerpieces stood on the round tables. We added a lovely display of more roses on the wedding cake, too. Check out all the beauty of this lovely wedding in photos by Lin &... Read More

A Dreamy December Wedding by the Sea

February 6, 2023 3:48 pm

Imagine getting married in the middle of December, outdoors, by the ocean. Here in California, it’s totally doable given our mild winters. Arielle and Josh took great advantage of our spring-like winter season, and had a beautiful ceremony right in front of the sea at Terranea. We provided a dreamy, romantic look to go along with their magical day. For the ceremony, we provided aisle pieces and in a mix of light pink, blush, and ivory flowers. Terranea’s ceremony pergola was covered in more flowers, plus pops of phalaenopsis orchids for additional movement and texture. Inside the ballroom, the stage featured a stunning backdrop of more florals, as well as lots more along the edge of the stage for an eye-popping... Read More

Gleaming Gold at the Beverly Hilton

November 14, 2022 2:16 pm

The Beverly Hilton features not only the ballroom where the Golden Globes and other prestigious events take place, but gorgeously neutral ballrooms for special celebrations, too. Aleen and Anthony chose one of these ballrooms for their very own prestigious event – their wedding! Gleaming gold was everywhere, from the glossy dance floor to the cutlery to the chargers. Our all-white floral palette aligned perfectly with the golden luster. We installed hanging roses and orchids above the dance floor, and garlands and cascades of white roses unfurled off of guest and sweetheart tables. Large centerpieces provided a backdrop for the cake, too, giving the room another indulgent focal point. The final touch: tons of flickering candles encased in clear class. Get... Read More

Stylish Sage at the Beverly Wilshire

October 28, 2022 10:02 am

Draping a ballroom can set off the space with instant high impact. For Marina and Anthony’s wedding, sage green draping made all the difference. This shade of green is a soft but stylish color that offered a perfect counterpoint to the white and pink reception decor. We designed floral garlands, tall centerpieces, and bridge pieces of mauve baby’s breath, pink roses and dahlias, and white phalaenopsis orchids. Glossy white tables, white carpet, and upholstered white chairs let the pink palette of the flowers truly shine. The floral decor stood out even more against the sage green background. Accenting the tabletops were smaller arrangements and bud vases of roses, dahlias, and hydrangea – and of course, tons of candles! Photos by... Read More

A Showstopper at Bellagio

September 16, 2022 11:32 am

Perla and James wanted to truly wow their guests with exciting, high-impact setpieces at their winter wedding at the Bellagio. They married in a nearby church, for which we provided pretty aisle pieces and light florals, saving the razzle-dazzle for the reception. In the ballroom, which was made a blank canvas thanks to white carpet and draping, we created a stunning showpiece of mirrored columns with swaths of floral garlands and drifts of long white orchids hanging down from above. Even more special – A draped walkway lead guests to the reception space, creating an immersive feel right from the beginning of the event experience! Take it all in with Lighthouse Photocinema‘s photos, below! Floral Design: Butterfly Floral and Event Design... Read More

Clouds of Baby’s Breath in Bel Air

April 19, 2022 5:59 pm

Our unique spin on this wedding truly had guests talking. Lauren and Robin married at a stunning Bel Air estate high above the city, and wanted to reflect this magical setting with a cool, elegant design with lots of baby’s breath and a Steel gray accent. The ceremony chuppah, decorated solely with baby’s breath, reflected the clouds above. The light airiness of the look was literally reflected by a glimmering mirrored ceremony aisle, and baby’s breath lined the aisle as well. The reception featured all gray furniture and chairs, and carpet too, for a chic monochromatic design. Collections of white flowers lined each long table, and tall baby’s breath centerpiece accented with clusters of white orchids towered above the round... Read More
