Calamigos Ranch takes the word ‘rustic’ to a whole other level. Their Redwood Room offers the polish of distinct architecture, ornate chandeliers, and stone fireplace for a warm and woodsy feel yet with an elegant touch. Sarah and Yon chose the venue for its unique charm, and we provided florals and decor to enhance this sense of rustic elegance. With the venue’s wood beams and details as a backdrop, we brought in greenery, white flowers, and rose-colored linens for a subtle blend of romantic shades reminiscent of a beautiful garden. We set tall centerpieces of lush greenery and pops of flowers and tall taper candles on round tables. The long tables featured low, no-less-lush centerpieces and more candles (you can... Read More

David and Michelle’s Malibu wedding is the epitome of natural beauty from beginning to end, with breathtaking ocean views to top it off. The happy couple tied the knot under a fluffy floral chuppah, perfectly placed where the sun met the bright sky just behind to form a dreamy backdrop. At the base of the chuppah posts puddled a bed of baby’s breath and white delphiniums. Wooden cross back chairs with ivory cushions lined the ceremony, adding a nice rustic touch to the space. With the event held at a private estate, the ceremony and reception took place in an adjoining backyard space. Carrying over the subtle rustic elements to dinner, linen table clothes and silver mercury candle holders graced... Read More

At this Malibu Rocky Oaks wedding, our couple wanted a fresh, natural look, mixed with upscale touches – collections of chic candles, bespoke glassware, and rose gold elements. Planner Shelli Armstrong expertly brought it all together for a stunning event. A crown-like circle of greenery rimmed the ceremony platform, flanked with wood pillars and compote arrangements. The sweetheart table featured lush urn arrangements set atop wood pillars. Rich floral runners of eucalpytus and ivory roses spilled over rustic wood tables. How perfect are these salt and pepper cellars with the tiny service spoons? The table settings feature copper-rose gold and marble-style elements, and an adorable bloom of ivory rose on each charger. We draped greenery and white orchids on Malibu... Read More

Private estates offer a one-of-a-kind, “Where is that?”-esque sense of sanctuary to a couple’s wedding day. For this event, the couple had their wedding at a private estate in Malibu, with a stunning backdrop of rolling hills and ocean waves. We created florals rich in texture and romantic greenery. The textures, colors, and overall inspiration of the wedding floral design was rustic and organic, as if the bouquets and design grew naturally from the surrounding hills. To create this look, we used ivory spray roses, roses, veronica, and varieties of greenery. The showpiece of this wedding was the half-crown backdrop of tall white florals and greenery, embracing the couple as they exchanged vows. Photos by Anya Kernes, below. The blush... Read More
