The Millennium Biltmore has been a backdrop to many of our most lavish weddings. This historic hotel was the epicenter of Old Hollywood and now is a sought-after venue for luxury weddings. The ornate ceilings, draped balconies, and Deco details are one of a kind, providing endless wedding inspiration for floral design. For their wedding flowers, our couple wanted the fresh vitality of a garden with the glam of gold and glass accents. We worked with a palette of whites and ivory, in the form of roses, weaving in lush greenery for a springlike feel. Many of the weddings we design host literally hundreds of people – huge events with lots of guests. But some of the smaller, more intimate affairs are just as innovative design-wise as our larger events. For this wedding of less than 75 guests, the couple wanted to add architectural designs to their florals, and we were happy to oblige, from the circle of roses behind the couple – that later accented the cake table – to the lush flower wall behind the sweetheart table. The stars of every wedding are the couple getting married, so it’s natural to have them sit apart from the guests in a beautifully appointed table all of their own. We have taken sweetheart tables to a higher art, and here share our absolute favorites. The background of a sweetheart table can be just as important as the design of the table itself. In the photo above, two beautiful tall floral arrangements with cascading flowers were placed behind the sweetheart table, adding height to the overall look.
