For this multicultural wedding, we created a tasteful design in vivid red. We softened this intense color with lots of greenery and ivory. The grooms, Darren and Nima, chose the gorgeous Calamigos Ranch as their wedding venue, and our red roses really popped against the rustic backdrop of the setting. The ceremony featured aisle decor of greenery like eucalyptus, and ivory and red roses. The ceremony arch was a stunner: more greenery, white flowers, and red flowers, in an alternating pattern that provided a high-impact focal point to the wedding. There’s nothing like a little glam to add excitement and fun to a wedding design. For Rebecca and Ryan, we provided a mirror-covered chuppah bordered with orchids to give that lovely touch of glamour. We surrounded the chuppah’s posts with candles in glass hurricanes for a romantic feel. Mirrored tables and chargers literally reflected our cool white florals in the reception space. A mix of tall and short floral arrangements lined the long tables. White draping surrounded it all to set off the crisp, modern aesthetic. Special touches make a wedding uniquely memorable for every couple. For Sheena and Brian, tropical touches, a champagne tower, and a fuchsia-festooned sofreh made their Hotel Bel Air Wedding truly stand out. The sofreh sat under an arch covered with swathes of hot pink baby’s breath and pops of white orchids. We decorated the sofreh itself with more baby’s breath and tucked in a few tropical leaves to tie into the reception decor. We also displayed a large tropical leaf on the back of the sofreh’s mirror. Pink comes in so many shades – blush, fuchsia, mauve, hot pink – and the flower world offers lots of variations of this romantic color. So when Shruti and Alec came to us to design their Calamigos Malibu wedding, we couldn’t wait to use the wide spectrum of pinks available to us. First, the ceremony: We built a clear, modern mandap with acrylic and bordered the top with a mix of pink and ivory flowers. We also swagged a beautiful pink-mauve chiffon fabric along the top and sides of the structure. A ballroom reception accented with trees creates a high-impact look that always wows guests. For Bita and Neema’s Beverly Wilshire wedding, we brought in pepper trees and wove pepper tree branches into their tall centerpieces, too. Fuchsia, pink, and blush roses accented the space with beautiful color. The overall look was romantic, dramatic, and bold. For the ceremony, we bordered the glossy white dance floor with lots of pink baby’s breath, providing a dreamy look for the vows and accenting the sentimental feel of the sofreh. A clear tent, tons of flowers, and lots of thoughtful touches gave Bridget and Tyler the stunning white wedding they wished for. First, we created a white-rose arch along the entrance of their church. Along with a dove release, this decor made for memorable photos of their grand exit from the ceremony! In the dramatic tented reception area, rows and rows (and rows!) of white flowers ringed an arrangement of tables encircling the dance floor. Glass-enclosed candles added a romantic flicker to the room. On round tables, we arranged grand displays of calla lilies, orchids, and roses, and long tables featured runners of more white flowers. Imagine getting married in the middle of December, outdoors, by the ocean. Here in California, it’s totally doable given our mild winters. Arielle and Josh took great advantage of our spring-like winter season, and had a beautiful ceremony right in front of the sea at Terranea. We provided a dreamy, romantic look to go along with their magical day. For the ceremony, we provided aisle pieces and in a mix of light pink, blush,and ivory flowers. Gulls Way is a spacious estate right on the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California. Kelly and Dylan wanted to brig some drama to their beachside wedding by utilizing deep, bold red for their reception, and we were happy to oblige. We created red rose centerpieces that worked beautifully against white linens and black chairs. A gazebo structure formed a rigging point for twinkle lights that sparkled all night. The one-of-a-kind Malibu Rocky Oaks Estate Vineyard boasts a helipad with breathtaking views overlooking the hills of Malibu. With nothing but fresh air surrounding you and neighboring wineries and picturesque fields below, the venue gives you an on top of the world feeling. What a magical place for Jane and Baldomero to say “I Do.” The ceremony was staged with a beautiful Chuppah, draped with ivory chiffon and trimmed with a rich floral runner of ivory roses and hydrangea.
