A Burst of Color by the Sea

May 18, 2022 5:17 pm

Bright florals and dreamy greenery made Brittany and Ethan’s Terranea wedding feel like a celebration amidst a field of wildflowers. Adding elegance to the rusticity were rented upholstered chairs, well-appointed tableware, and our beautifully composed wedding arch and centerpieces. And probably the most important detail: A sweet floral collar for the bride and groom’s dog! The colors of teal, blue, pink, blush, and sand were on display everywhere, from the bridal bouquet to the aisle decor. A white gate with lush florals greeted guests to the ceremony. Along the aisles were bursts of delphinium and greenery in pops of blue and pink. The existing pergola at Terranea, positioned directly in front of the ocean, was frosted with flowing branches of... Meaningful Details and Custom Creations at Four Seasons Los Angeles

January 12, 2022 5:14 pm

Shared interests bring wedding couples together, and in the case of Corina and Jonathan, the shared in common their various travels across the world. We flanked a gorgeous seating chart display of a mirrored map of the world with white pillars topped with organic arrangements of blush, white, and pink roses and hurricane candles. We also created a set of custom gold arches, decorated with lush garlands of roses and greenery. We hung signage and photos of the bride and groom’s engagement session from the arches, for a high-impact way to greet guests. The arches are an excellent example of what we can create with our fabrication team. We have a workshop dedicated to welding and building such set-pieces to... Read More

A Romantic Haven in Los Angeles

December 7, 2021 12:57 pm

Hidden away in a private home, Shai and Candice wed surrounded by family and friends for a springtime wedding reminiscent of a secret English garden. Our lush arches and setpieces gave the event a quietly elegant feel; weaving in roses, various greenery, and even lemons imbued our design with an organic, natural look – as if each centerpiece was gathered from the backyard, yet arranged with sense of refinement. The ceremony featured a large arch and aisle pieces; the eclectic, vintage-style white chairs added texture and romance to the setup. Our core design color of yellow – butter yellow, lemon yellow, and everything in between – lilghtened up the thick greenery. And – doves! We accented these beautiful birds’ cage... Read More

Snow-White Wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

November 12, 2021 6:00 pm

While this stunning wedding at Hummingbirds Nest Ranch took place in the summer, the aesthetic brought a refreshing cool wintry feel to the event. Ilene and Robert wanted an all white palette with gray and metallic accents. We designed a chuppah with drifts of white orchids; the mirrored legs of the chuppah added a touch of glamour. Candles lined the glossy white aisle for a clean look. In the reception tent, mirrored tables, a metallic stage backdrop, and gunmetal-gray napkins offered brilliant and modern counterpoints to our white florals. Tall centerpieces on the round tables offered height and drama; collections of grand candelabras, tall centerpieces, and vases of flowers like tulips and lisianthus lined the long tables. We love when... Read More

June 1, 2019 8:24 pm

For this wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, the bride and groom wanted to take advantage of the pastoral space in front of the stunning waterfall. The Waterfall Lawn at the Four Seasons is one of a kind; only a very few hotels can claim to have such a beautiful water feature at their property. For this event, the couple married under the Gazebo overlooking the waterfall, then had dinner on the Waterfall Lawn, and dancing in the Hamptons space a short walk from the lawn. We provided modern centerpieces in wood boxes, large eye-catching urns for the ceremony, and bright pops of pink, everywhere. Photos by Chris Schmitt Photography, below. Natural and Luxe at Malibu Rocky Oaks

March 6, 2019 2:54 am

At this Malibu Rocky Oaks wedding, our couple wanted a fresh, natural look, mixed with upscale touches – collections of chic candles, bespoke glassware, and rose gold elements. Planner Shelli Armstrong expertly brought it all together for a stunning event. A crown-like circle of greenery rimmed the ceremony platform, flanked with wood pillars and compote arrangements. The sweetheart table featured lush urn arrangements set atop wood pillars. Rich floral runners of eucalpytus and ivory roses spilled over rustic wood tables. How perfect are these salt and pepper cellars with the tiny service spoons? The table settings feature copper-rose gold and marble-style elements, and an adorable bloom of ivory rose on each charger. We draped greenery and white orchids on Malibu... Read More

Real Wedding: Quiet Elegance at the Langham Pasadena

March 1, 2019 2:11 am

Many of the weddings we design host literally hundreds of people – huge events with lots of guests. But some of the smaller, more intimate affairs are just as innovative design-wise as our larger events. For this wedding of less than 75 guests, the couple wanted to add architectural designs to their florals, and we were happy to oblige, from the circle of roses behind the couple – that later accented the cake table – to the lush flower wall behind the sweetheart table. As always, we enjoyed working with the confident and capable Katie Lee from Bella Destinee, and photographer Andy Seo. Gold chairs by Palace Party Rental vibed perfectly with the soft whites and ivories of the florals.... Read More

Real Wedding: Sumptuous Greenery at Four Seasons Westlake Village

February 14, 2019 3:37 pm

Who doesn’t love greenery? When the rustic trend came upon the wedding world a few years ago, it thrilled designers and florists everywhere. Greenery can be used to add lush depth and dimension to wedding floral design. For this sumptuous wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we used tons (well, not literally – but close!) of pepper tree, eucalyptus, and other foliage to create a dreamy look for our couple. Lin and Jirsa captured it all on camera, and Maryam Forutan, owner of Delicate Details, helped ensure all elements of this amazing wedding came together beautifully. A Chuppah with Greenery and White Flowers The centerpiece of the wedding ceremony was this chuppah, overflowing with greenery, amaranthus, and white and... Read More
