While this stunning wedding at Hummingbirds Nest Ranch took place in the summer, the aesthetic brought a refreshing cool wintry feel to the event. Ilene and Robert wanted an all white palette with gray and metallic accents. We designed a chuppah with drifts of white orchids; the mirrored legs of the chuppah added a touch of glamour. Candles lined the glossy white aisle for a clean look. In the reception tent, mirrored tables, a metallic stage backdrop, and gunmetal-gray napkins offered brilliant and modern counterpoints to our white florals. Tall centerpieces on the round tables offered height and drama; collections of grand candelabras, tall centerpieces, and vases of flowers like tulips and lisianthus lined the long tables. We love when... Read More

We love all things greenery. And, we love glamorous, elegant ballrooms. Some people think greenery and ballrooms don’t mix, but we beg to differ. For this wedding, we were able to bring the outside in – bringing in whole pepper trees, hanging greenery, and lining a glossy dance floor with even more greenery. And, it worked! For this wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, the bride and groom wanted to take advantage of the pastoral space in front of the stunning waterfall. The Waterfall Lawn at the Four Seasons is one of a kind; only a very few hotels can claim to have such a beautiful water feature at their property. For this event, the couple married under the Gazebo overlooking the waterfall, then had dinner on the Waterfall Lawn, and dancing in the Hamptons space a short walk from the lawn. We provided modern centerpieces in wood boxes, large eye-catching urns for the ceremony, and bright pops of pink, everywhere. Photos by Chris Schmitt Photography, below. Roses and romance are one and the same when it comes to the symbolism of love, and this wedding was no exception. We created lush textures with ivory, pink, and mauve roses for the wedding ceremony, with a grand chuppah and matching floral arch. In the reception, we continued the look, adding a sense of lightness provided by sprays of orchids in the tabletop centerpieces. The stunning backdrop of the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel – as you can see by now, a favorite of ours – heightened the overall affect. See photos below by Jessica Claire, and special shout-out to Maryam Forutan from Delicate Details for running a smooth and successful wedding! Delicate roses hang down along the back of... Read More

sAs wedding design becomes more and more ambitious, we find ourselves playing with the possibilities when it comes to ceiling installations. For many years, the most extravagant aspect of ballroom ceilings were light fixtures, such as chandeliers; but with careful rigging and great collaborators, we can bring drama and style to overhead installations. For this romantic wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach, we designed overflowing waves of white florals and greenery, along with crystal fixtures. We worked with great vendors, including the amazing team at Amber Event Production,to create the overall look. Photos below are by the always-brilliant Jessica Claire. The Millennium Biltmore has been a backdrop to many of our most lavish weddings. This historic hotel was the epicenter of Old Hollywood and now is a sought-after venue for luxury weddings. The ornate ceilings, draped balconies, and Deco details are one of a kind, providing endless wedding inspiration for floral design. For their wedding flowers, our couple wanted the fresh vitality of a garden with the glam of gold and glass accents. We worked with a palette of whites and ivory, in the form of roses, weaving in lush greenery for a springlike feel. Our design featured our custom metalwork, in the form of candle holders, as well as large bridge centerpieces and opulent urn pieces. Working alongside an... Read More

For this wedding, held at the iconic Beverly, Hilton, the bride and groom wanted full, elegant displays featuring roses, orchids, and pops of babys breath, and a huge installation of florals above the dance floor. The result: Romantic, chic event design. Jessica Claire’s photos capture the glamour, from start to finish. Candles lined the aisle in the ceremony space. Branches of cherry blossom and rustic elements created this stunning chuppah. Delicate glass bulbs hung down from tall stands of orchids and babys breath on the long tables in the ballroom. A mix of tall centerpieces and lower arrangements alternated throughout the space. Palace Party Rental’s chairs alternated between gold and white. At this Malibu Rocky Oaks wedding, our couple wanted a fresh, natural look, mixed with upscale touches – collections of chic candles, bespoke glassware, and rose gold elements. Planner Shelli Armstrong expertly brought it all together for a stunning event. A crown-like circle of greenery rimmed the ceremony platform, flanked with wood pillars and compote arrangements. The sweetheart table featured lush urn arrangements set atop wood pillars. Rich floral runners of eucalpytus and ivory roses spilled over rustic wood tables. How perfect are these salt and pepper cellars with the tiny service spoons? The table settings feature copper-rose gold and marble-style elements, and an adorable bloom of ivory rose on each charger. We draped greenery and white orchids on Malibu... Read More
