Lillian and Isaac didn’t want a soft, subtle palette for their wedding – instead they asked for a bold and daring look with this combination of vivid reds, purples, and pinks, and eye-catching accents of pampas grass. This intensified color palette fit perfectly into the Langham Pasadena ballroom, with its gorgeous chandeliers and arched ceiling. The chuppah stretched the entire stage, flanked with amaranthus, roses, and various greenery. The mirrored legs of the chuppah allowed the colors to pop on their own. We used antique-style metal pedestals and vases for the reception pieces, and bridged long tables with stunning overhead arrangements of roses, hydrangea, and pepper tree. We’re so grateful to the bride and groom for collaborating with us on... Read More

We love all things greenery. And, we love glamorous, elegant ballrooms. Some people think greenery and ballrooms don’t mix, but we beg to differ. For this wedding, we were able to bring the outside in – bringing in whole pepper trees, hanging greenery, and lining a glossy dance floor with even more greenery. And, it worked! sAs wedding design becomes more and more ambitious, we find ourselves playing with the possibilities when it comes to ceiling installations. For many years, the most extravagant aspect of ballroom ceilings were light fixtures, such as chandeliers; but with careful rigging and great collaborators, we can bring drama and style to overhead installations. For this romantic wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach, we designed overflowing waves of white florals and greenery, along with crystal fixtures. We worked with great vendors, including the amazing team at Amber Event Production,to create the overall look. Photos below are by the always-brilliant Jessica Claire. Who doesn’t love greenery? When the rustic trend came upon the wedding world a few years ago, it thrilled designers and florists everywhere. Greenery can be used to add lush depth and dimension to wedding floral design. For this sumptuous wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we used tons (well, not literally – but close!) of pepper tree, eucalyptus, and other foliage to create a dreamy look for our couple. Lin and Jirsa captured it all on camera, and Maryam Forutan, owner of Delicate Details, helped ensure all elements of this amazing wedding came together beautifully. A Chuppah with Greenery and White Flowers The centerpiece of the wedding ceremony was this chuppah, overflowing with greenery, amaranthus, and white and... Read More

Private estates offer a one-of-a-kind, “Where is that?”-esque sense of sanctuary to a couple’s wedding day. For this event, the couple had their wedding at a private estate in Malibu, with a stunning backdrop of rolling hills and ocean waves. We created florals rich in texture and romantic greenery. The textures, colors, and overall inspiration of the wedding floral design was rustic and organic, as if the bouquets and design grew naturally from the surrounding hills. To create this look, we used ivory spray roses, roses, veronica, and varieties of greenery. The showpiece of this wedding was the half-crown backdrop of tall white florals and greenery, embracing the couple as they exchanged vows. Photos by Anya Kernes, below. The blush... Read More

Often, the escort card table is one of the first thing guests see as they arrive at your wedding; or, after the ceremony as guests file towards your reception, it’s the first element of the reception decor and a change of pace from the ceremony. It basically kickstarts the most fun part of the evening – the emotion and introspection of the ceremony gives away to dinner, dancing, and, yes, the open bar! Below are some of our most innovative escort card tables and designs. This escort card display was for a large wedding (over 700 guests). Modern white shelves served as a backdrop, with orchids flowing from glass vessels, and candles – lots of candles. This wood stand held... Read More

Hummingbird Nest Ranch is a space set apart from all others: A sprawling ranch turned event space, it features massive lawns and gorgeous architecture. With the Santa Susana Mountains as a backdrop, it’s a truly special place for a wedding. For this celebration, the clients wanted rich red to be a focus, along with luxurious amounts of greenery and vibrant corals, yellows, and light pink. And the chuppah had to be amazing. Of course, that’s one of our specialties, and we created a stunning chuppah with a light ombre effect. A Breathtaking Chuppah with Rich Red Roses The Chuppah featured a spectrum of color, carefully placed for a slight ombre affect, starting with rich red roses at the base of... Read More

Over 600 Guests. Massive trees growing out of tables. One of the most luxurious venues in the country. This winter wedding at the Bellagio Las Vegas was a beautiful production that we were thrilled to be a part of! Luxurious Wedding Floral Inspiration The couple wanted classic, white florals with a slight modern feel and rose gold accents. An acrylic chuppah gave them a clean presentation, and chic white shelves lined with candles not only defined the entrance to their ceremony space, its clean edges lent a modern touch and high-impact impression to guests. Those trees, though! A one-of-a-kind element of this wedding design that awed guests were the 13′ trees rising from Palace Party Rental‘s custom made tables. These... Read More
