This wedding combined a fresh, spring-like feel with the ornate decadence of the Banker’s Ballroom in Fresno. Gorgeous, long burgundy curtains and gold ceiling molding set an opulent scene in the space. Matching this look with the floral design could appear too heavy, so our team created arrangements of greenery and white flowers that, while no less dramatic than their surroundings, offered an elegant yet airy feel to the room. At the church, we provided gorgeous urn pieces overflowing with ruscus greenery and matching aisle pieces that hung on every other pew. The bride’s bouquet was bursting with fresh, puffy peonies. Back at the ballroom, a massive head table (for the nearly two-dozen bridal party attendants!) was decked out in... Read More

Ojai has a magic feel to it – you’re just a couple hours from the city of Los Angeles, but it feels like it’s in another universe. Lots of rolling hills and an amazing countryside give the property a romantic seclusion – the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. For Dina and Mark’s wedding at the Ojai Valley Inn, we kept things pretty and light with white flowers and greenery. From the hedge behind their seating chart to greenery forming a diamond pattern for a band backdrop, all that foliage gave an organic yet elegant feel to the event. Our chuppah was a grand, stunning structure covered with a varied pattern of greenery and featuring pops of white flowers. Draping... Read More

Design is not just about pretty flowers and stunning decor, but about placement of these elements. For Sivart and Adam’s wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel, a stunning tableau was created by placing the sweetheart table – an elegantly upholstered piece by MTB Rentals – in front of the cake table. Then, we framed this vision with cascades of greenery and white, as well as two pedestals of large urn pieces on either side of the cake. The result is an artful composition with depth and perspective, as well as gorgeous texture thanks to the greenery. Elsewhere throughout their wedding and reception we continued the theme of fresh white flowers with rich vivid greenery, including the church aisle flowers, urns,... Read More

One of our specialties is creating lush overhead installations of florals. Usually, you need a ballroom ceiling to do that type of thing! But working with the right vendors, we can create such drama anywhere. In this case, we worked with Town & Country Event Rentals to accent Alexandra and Mattan’s dance floor at their venue, Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Town and Country created a framework of trussing for us so we could safely attach our florals, and the result was a stunning installation of white orchids with accents of greenery. We also lined the arches of the Ranch’s architecture with lush garlands of more greenery and classically beautiful white flowers. Our chuppah echoed this color scheme, too, a gorgeous showpiece... The Hotel Bel-Air is a legendary A-lister hideaway tucked into the hills of Los Angeles. Lauren and Blake wanted their guests to feel like they were in a lush and beautiful retreat. Their wedding took place at the hotel’s iconic outdoor locations – the lake, inhabited by graceful swans, and a lawn nestled among the hotel, where we hung swathes of greenery and flowers along a wood arbor. Along with twinkle lights that echoed a starry night, the feel was truly that of a magical getaway. The ceremony arch featured lots of greenery and pops of white flowers. In the reception space, we hung tons of ruscus greenery on the trellis over the head table and designed pink and white... Read More

Calamigos Ranch offers a whimsical, pastoral venue for weddings. Jessika and Adrian married among the dreamy trees and hanging lights in the Pavilion ceremony space; then, guests partied among nearby carnival rides and under Calamigos’ elegant tent. Our round ceremony structure, decorated with white roses, served as a dramatic backdrop for the couple. The natural mix of white flowers and greenery continued through the cocktail hour and reception space. We dressed the fireplace mantel with lots of gorgeous flowers, and moved the ceremony backdrop to the reception space to add visual impact to the sweetheart table. For many weddings, the wedding chuppah is the first thing guests see and presents an opportunity to make a big impact with wedding design. Most importantly, the chuppah is an important symbol of Jewish weddings. We try to make every chuppah special and unique, and for Nicole and Mateen’s Saddlrock Ranch wedding, we created a large, lush structure to shelter the couple and their family during their wedding vows. Tree trunks supported the chuppah, and each corner held full greenery and flowers; the chuppah looked as if it were created by four trees. We collected white wildflowers at the base of each ‘tree’.’ Natural florals lined the white catwalk aisle for a cohesive, organic look. We added gold accents to... Read More

Lush, extravagant greenery surrounded guests at Therese and Danny’s wedding at Vibiana. From arches all along long tables to adorning Vibiana’s beautiful altar with garlands of greens, the space turned into a wondrous garden oasis. We created lovely white rose and greenery compote pieces for individual tables, as well as garlands of the same mix of florals for the long tables, tippling over into luxurious cascades. The couple took great advantage of the space by setting up lounge areas. In the cocktail space, we created compote pieces for cocktail tables and crowned a fun backddrop with florals and greenery. For a dessert lounge inside, we draped the bookshevles holding desserts with more greenery. Take in all of this whimsical, gorgeous... Read More

Perla and James wanted to truly wow their guests with exciting, high-impact setpieces at their winter wedding at the Bellagio. They married in a nearby church, for which we provided pretty aisle pieces and light florals, saving the razzle-dazzle for the reception. In the ballroom, which was made a blank canvas thanks to white carpet and draping, we created a stunning showpiece of mirrored columns with swaths of floral garlands and drifts of long white orchids hanging down from above. Even more special – A draped walkway lead guests to the reception space, creating an immersive feel right from the beginning of the event experience! Take it all in with Lighthouse Photocinema‘s photos, below! Floral Design: Butterfly Floral and Event Design... Read More

For Ellie and Moti’s big day at the Four Seasons Westlake, they wanted a modern and high-impact backdrop for their sweetheart table. We arranged our custom gold candleholders and clusters of white flowers and baby’s breath on a white stage provided by Hollywood Event Rentals. It’s unique touches like the backdrop that make a couple’s wedding stand apart and reflect their individual tastes. We also created an asymmetrical centerpiece for the escort table, and a chuppah dripping with orchids for an airy feel. We kept the ceremony space fresh and springlike, with white flowers along the aisle accented by greenery. We created cascades of blush and ivory flowers in the reception ballroom, including the room divider. See more of the... Read More
