Classic Callas at Montage Laguna Beach

Calla lilies have long been popular for wedding and event decor, with their sculptural, trumpet-like shape. While their symbolism varies, callas mainly represent life, an affirming meaning especially for a wedding – as two people join together for a new life ahead.

Kasey and Evan planned a small wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach, and envisioned the classic elegance of callas for their celebration. We twisted baby callas in hurricanes of water, fashioned large, grand centerpieces of multiple vases of the flowers, and lined the existing bar at the Montage with a stunning all-calla display.

Choosing one type of flower – and using lots and lots of them – created a big visual impact for this gorgeously modern affair.
