Rustic Wedding with Blue-Sky Views at Cielo Farms

June 25, 2019 12:43 am

Cielo Farms is nestled along Kanan Dune Road, a twisty canyon in Los Angeles. The views are beautiful and the overall feel is intimate. We were able to work with Natalie Sofer on this beautiful wedding, with rustic touches. Wood texture was everywhere, in the cross back chairs, farm tables, and lounge furniture. We created lush arrangements with greenery and white florals, a rustic mix that looked perfect in this setting. See all the beauty, below, in photos by Next Exit Photography. Bringing the Outside In at Beverly Hills Hotel

June 22, 2019 6:29 am

We love all things greenery. And, we love glamorous, elegant ballrooms. Some people think greenery and ballrooms don’t mix, but we beg to differ. For this wedding, we were able to bring the outside in – bringing in whole pepper trees, hanging greenery, and lining a glossy dance floor with even more greenery. And, it worked! Real Wedding: Elegance on the Lawn at Four Seasons Westlake

June 1, 2019 8:24 pm

For this wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, the bride and groom wanted to take advantage of the pastoral space in front of the stunning waterfall. The Waterfall Lawn at the Four Seasons is one of a kind; only a very few hotels can claim to have such a beautiful water feature at their property. For this event, the couple married under the Gazebo overlooking the waterfall, then had dinner on the Waterfall Lawn, and dancing in the Hamptons space a short walk from the lawn. We provided modern centerpieces in wood boxes, large eye-catching urns for the ceremony, and bright pops of pink, everywhere. Photos by Chris Schmitt Photography, below. Light and Lavish Touches: Pink Wedding at Riviera Country Club

May 24, 2019 2:25 am

The ballroom at the Riviera Country Club has a decadent look – rich gold curtains, chandeliers, and sconces add a gilded feel to the room. We worked with light, pretty pink florals to add dimension and romance to the overall design of this classic, beautiful wedding. We combined ivory, bright pink, lavender, and antique pink roses with hydrangea for the reception florals, collecting charming small pieces down long tables and going for drama with tall, glamorous centerpieces for the round tables. The ceremony featured clusters of florals and eucalyptus greenery on the existing gazebo at the Riviera, adding texture and depth to the vows area. Ivory draping added a final sophisticated touch. Our favorite part of this wedding? The non-matching... Read More

Classic Neutral Wedding at the Beverly Hilton

May 18, 2019 12:24 am

If there’s anything designers love, it’s variety. Every client has a different idea about wedding design; they all have unique tastes and inspiration. In the case of this gorgeous wedding at the Beverly Hilton, the couple were all about neutrals. Soothing, soft tones used in a monochromatic style are pleasing to the eye and always classic and elegant. You can’t go wrong with a neutral wedding! We utilized flowers of the softest pale pink, intermixed with white florals, such as sprays of phalaenopsis orchids. Delicate greens, including pale green amaranthus in the reception centerpieces, subtly accented the florals. Hints of gold, in the vases, completed the picture. The Hilton’s beige ballroom lent the perfect neutral backdrop, beautifully setting off the... Read More

Real Wedding: Luxury and Orchids in Ojai

May 11, 2019 12:37 am

This wedding in Ojai took advantage of the Ojai Valley Inn’s beautiful landscape for a rustic, yet elegant wedding ceremony. Inside the ballroom, it was orchids everywhere – for a crisp, white contrast to the woodsy and organic ceremony. Combining wood textures with pretty florals created an overall look that is both warm and elegant. Take in all the beauty below in photos by Shumanev Production. The tall, strong trees allowed us to hang delicate votives; the aisle was accented with clusters of geometric votive holders, ferns, flowers, and pillar candles. Chiffon runners set a perfect table, with votives, green taper candles, roses, hydrangea, and greenery also running down the center. Real Wedding: Tented Elegance at Hummingbird Nest Wedding

May 4, 2019 2:13 am

It takes so many details to design a stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding. For this luxurious Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding at their Villa location, every aspect of the decor had to contribute to a rich, vibrant palette, from the deep red roses all around the portico at the ceremony to the swags of purple along the tent. In the ceremony area, we surrounded the existing portico with lush greenery and roses, with an aisle border to match. For the reception tables, we designed collections of compotes filled with red roses, and tapered red candles, and mercury votives. Purple napkins, gold rimmed chargers, and dove gray linens completed the look. And of course, we filled the beautiful fountain in front of the Villa... Read More

Lavish Romance at the Millennium Biltmore

April 25, 2019 3:06 am

Roses and romance are one and the same when it comes to the symbolism of love, and this wedding was no exception. We created lush textures with ivory, pink, and mauve roses for the wedding ceremony, with a grand chuppah and matching floral arch. In the reception, we continued the look, adding a sense of lightness provided by sprays of orchids in the tabletop centerpieces. The stunning backdrop of the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel – as you can see by now, a favorite of ours – heightened the overall affect. See photos below by Jessica Claire, and special shout-out to Maryam Forutan from Delicate Details for running a smooth and successful wedding! Delicate roses hang down along the back of... Real Wedding: Eye-popping Design at the Montage Laguna Beach

April 17, 2019 5:48 pm

sAs wedding design becomes more and more ambitious, we find ourselves playing with the possibilities when it comes to ceiling installations. For many years, the most extravagant aspect of ballroom ceilings were light fixtures, such as chandeliers; but with careful rigging and great collaborators, we can bring drama and style to overhead installations. For this romantic wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach, we designed overflowing waves of white florals and greenery, along with crystal fixtures. We worked with great vendors, including the amazing team at Amber Event Production,to create the overall look. Photos below are by the always-brilliant Jessica Claire.
