Picture-Perfect Decor at the Taglyan Complex

April 18, 2023 4:35 pm

We want our couples to have a one-of-a-kind experience with us – by having a one of a kind wedding. Thanks to our construction and design team, we can execute amazing ideas from scratch. Vahe and Siuneh wanted unique designs for both their ceremony and reception spaces at the Taglyan Complex. For the ceremony, we combined three arch structures in a distinct overlapping setup and added movement and texture with cascades and accents of florals. A grand stage elevated the couple for their vows. Echoing a beautiful museum or grand home, the couple wanted gold picture frames on a bold black wall in their reception, and we delivered – expertly assembling handmade ‘frame’ details on the wall using intricate wood... Detailed Design at the Ritz Laguna Niguel

April 6, 2023 2:35 pm

Details count, especially in event design – even the smallest touches. For Julie and Peter’s celebration at the Ritz Laguna Niguel, we created tabletop decor featuring hundreds of little votives and unique, two-vases-in-one bud vases on large round tables to give a soft, romantic feel. These perfect circles of candlelight and roses offered lots of visual interest for guests to enjoy as they dined. Our blush and ivory theme featured a touch of black thanks to pops of anemones, a springtime favorite of many brides and grooms. Set against all-white linens, flooring, and draping, the gentle pink of the florals glowed in the space. This palette of soft, pretty colors was perfect for a beach-side spring wedding. Finishing the look... Read More

Monochrome Glamor at Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach

March 29, 2023 10:50 am

Designing primarily with one color brings big-time impact to a wedding. For Kalina and Omeed’s luxurious Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach wedding, soft blush pink became the go-to shade for the reception, reflected in just about everything in the room: the upholstered chairs, our floral arrangements, even the draping along the walls. We lightened the ceremony with lots of white, including the aisle pieces; touches of blush added dimension to the wedding arch. Inside the ballroom, we crowned long tables with tall bridge arrangements dripping with white phalaenopsis orchids and blush roses, as well as lower arrangements for round tables. Lots of candlelight added romance to the already atmospheric and stunning space. Throughout, gold offered an upscale metallic counterpoint to the... Read More

Stunning Snow-White at Hillcrest Country Club

March 26, 2023 4:03 pm

You can’t go wrong with all white, especially for a peak-of-summer wedding like Emily and Don’s celebration at the Hillcrest Country Club. From their pup’s baby’s breath-wrapped leash to overflowing calla lilies and orchids, their entire wedding design featured this crisp, classic color. The gorgeous ceremony lawn at Hillcrest served as the ideal canvas for our ceremony setup: A composed chuppah covered entirely with white flowers, with rows of flowers lining the aisle and white urn arrangements at the beginning of the aisle. The Bedeken stage also featured curves of white flowers as a lovely backdrop to this tradition, and the escort card table featured a variety of white flowers. We did add a pop of blush to the low... A One-of-a-Kind Chuppah at Four Seasons Westlake

March 15, 2023 11:27 am

A chuppah is typically in the shape of four straight posts with a tallit shawl draped overhead. Among other things, the chuppah symbolizes the wedding couple’s new home that they will create together. This special meaning inspires us to be creative with our chuppahs. For Dorsa and Eliot’s wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we created gracefully curved branches instead of straight posts. We filled out the frame with lots of eucalyptus and greenery, sprinkled with fresh white flowers. Inside the ballroom, we kept things light and airy with more white florals and baby’s breath, as well as a mix of blush and pink arrangements for additional color. Gorgeous patterned lighting everywhere by Sky Lighting Productions gave additional dimension... Read More

Black and Blush at Terranea

March 7, 2023 3:26 pm

Blush pink ruled the day at Nadeea and Dux’s wedding at Terranea on a sunny, mild October afternoon. For the ceremony by the ocean, we created a frilly combination of orchids and roses on Terranea’s pergola. White chairs and a glossy white aisle provided a crisp counterpoint to the lightness of the flowers. We also oversaw the chic charcoal-black seating chart which held a champagne coupe for each guest! What a fun (and stylish) way to kick off the reception. Inside the ballroom, blush draping and flowers extended the light-pink theme. Tall centerpieces of overflowing flowers including orchids and roses, plus gold and black taper candles created a romantic yet modern feel to the room. We also added a phalaenopsis... Read More

From Ballroom to Nightclub at Four Seasons Westlake

March 3, 2023 3:53 pm

Four Seasons Westlake Village is one of our favorite venues, and we love the feel of their newly renovated event spaces. Trish and Harrison went one step further, turning the Four Season’s chic ballroom into a nightclub for their wedding reception. The glam look started in the indoor ceremony space, with cascade upon cascade of white flowers along a white gate, and again at the wedding arch. The arch had a ‘curtain’ feel, with dainty flowers hanging along the middle. A mirrored catwalk set it all off with its reflective surface, adding a luxe, modern vibe. In the ballroom, gray carpet was installed, and banquettes of black velvet settees, gold metal chairs and glass tables created a cool clubby atmosphere.... Read More

Rustic Glamour at La Quinta

February 22, 2023 4:12 pm

We love cherry blossoms – the perfect combination of pretty blooms and the rusticity of tree branches. Carrie and Dan wanted a natural wood and floral chuppah at their La Quinta Resort wedding; we created a structure with a blend of florals, including lots and lots of cherry blossoms. We also cascaded a lovely unfurling of tons of blush and ivory flowers at the base of the branches, too. Plus, a matching arch greeted guests at the beginning of the aisle. Along the crisp white aisle, we placed boxes holding bursts of more ivory and pink flowers. Inside the stunning ballroom, more branches, including curly willow, formed large arrangements on the round tables, dressed with hanging glass votives. Long wood... Read More

Coral Crescents at Saddlerock Ranch

February 15, 2023 11:22 am

A unique ceremony backdrop is the key to creating a big impact during the exchange of vows. For Carolyne and Ben, we designed a series of crescent shapes encrusted with roses in shades of pink and coral. The result was truly eye popping, adding a sense of modern romance to the ceremony. The reception featured cool grays in the chairs and table tops, a perfect neutral complement to our coral and pink centerpieces. We broke up the pretty pinks with touches of light green hydrangeas and ruscus greenery. The round tables featured coral linens, upon which we perched tall, elegant centerpieces in a mix of light yellow, pink, coral and light green. Adding a modern touch were our gray concrete... A Dreamy December Wedding by the Sea

February 6, 2023 3:48 pm

Imagine getting married in the middle of December, outdoors, by the ocean. Here in California, it’s totally doable given our mild winters. Arielle and Josh took great advantage of our spring-like winter season, and had a beautiful ceremony right in front of the sea at Terranea. We provided a dreamy, romantic look to go along with their magical day. For the ceremony, we provided aisle pieces and in a mix of light pink, blush, and ivory flowers. Terranea’s ceremony pergola was covered in more flowers, plus pops of phalaenopsis orchids for additional movement and texture. Inside the ballroom, the stage featured a stunning backdrop of more florals, as well as lots more along the edge of the stage for an eye-popping... Read More
