Flowers, flowers, everywhere! – elegance at Four Seaons Westlake Village

July 18, 2024 9:27 am

Sabrina and Max celebrated their wedding with a variety of events, including a lavish reception at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. We were on hand to provide a gorgeous melange of colorful florals in every nook and cranny! From the bride’s home to their wedding ceremony and lunch to the incredibly elegant emerald-and-pink reception at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, our designs provided a sophisticated, luxe feel. We especially loved how the emerald green chairs at the reception added a vibrant counterpoint to our hot-pink roses. The reception was all about evening glamour, thus the deeper, more vivid colors in the palette of pinks. Our sweetheart tables at all events offered fabulous focal points to the rooms, with ceiling decor... Read More

A Beautiful Blue Wedding at the Ebell

July 9, 2024 1:35 pm

Blue has a cool wintry feel, and it was a perfect color for Sarah and Louis’ January winter wedding at the historic Ebell in Los Angeles. We took advantage of the architectural details of the space to create a stunning design for the couple. The staircase in the Lounge room of the Ebell creates a grand entrance for a bride before she walks down the aisle. We gave this feature lots of love in the form of cascading florals in ivory and blue, with accents of overflowing, delicate ruscus greenery. More flowers lined the aisle, drawing focus to the ‘altar’ area, which we framed with majestic urn pieces and a lovely border along the raised wood platform, where the couple... Read More

An Intimate and Super-Stylish Celebration at Bacara

July 1, 2024 3:17 pm

Something about the fresh sea breezes and enchanting sound of the waves inspires romance, and for Scott, and Mark, the Bacara resort gave them the perfect venue for exchanging vows: right in front of the Pacific. The couple’s modern vibe was reflected (literally!) in mirrored touches and clean white florals, aligning perfectly with the gentlemens’ all-white tuxedos. We decked out the wedding arch with clouds of baby’s breath for a light, elegant focal point. Baby’s breath, alternated with white flowers, lined the aisle for a structured yet pretty border. Shelves of champagne greeted guests, which we encircled with baby’s breath and roses. A playful sign encouraged guests to “come for the love, stay for the party”! And what an amazing... Read More

Lush and Elegant at Bel Air Bay Club

June 25, 2024 9:31 am

The Bel Air Bay Club has one of the best views in the town: its proximity just across the street from the Pacific Ocean allows couples to trade vows in front of an uncluttered vista of the sea. Megan and Brennan wanted a natural yet elegant look to their wedding to complement this seaside beauty, framing their ceremony with a lush chuppah of white roses and overflowing abundance of greenery—including fern and ruscus—as well as accents of wildflowers for additional texture. We lined the aisle with even more greenery, roses, and wildflowers; we also placed these flowers in front of the stage in the reception room. The look carried over into cocktails, with delicate vines of greenery draped across the... Read More

Modern Art at the Langham Pasdena

June 18, 2024 12:05 pm

When a couple’s wedding looks more like modern art, you have a singular, one-of-a-kind affair no one will forget! Rana and Babak wanted their decor to be polished and sculptural, and we delivered, creating orbs of green and white florals to border their ceremony aisle and decorate their sofreh with super-cool style. With perfect precision, we laid out the orbs in a variegated, concise pattern all along the ceremony space. From overhead, it looks like an upscale garden filled with modern art! The round motif continued in the ballroom, with green apples at every place setting, and small centerpieces with more precise curves. But we did lean into lushness, as well, with overflowing florals of roses and baby’s breath cascading... Read More

Legos and Love at Laguna Cliffs Marriott

June 11, 2024 10:37 am

A weddings can be a perfect showcase for a couple’s personality. Vivian and Sean brought vivid colors and cute details to their big day at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort, starting with vivid summery colors, perfect for the early-fall hot weather so common in our SoCal Septembers. Our transparent mandap wedding ceremony structure gave the illusion that our crown of bright pink, orange, and fuchsia flowers were floating, a cool look that allowed the gorgeous seaside backdrop to really shine during the couple’s wedding ceremony. The vivid color palette worked beautifully against the ornate gold details on the mandap, including the gorgeous chairs that the couple sat upon during the multicultural ceremony. The most charming touch: Lego escort cards! The... Read More

Modern and Mirrored at Hilton San Diego Bayfront

June 4, 2024 10:27 am

Simple doesn’t mean underwhelming, certainly not for this stylish wedding at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront! For their multicultural ceremony, Radhika and Justin wanted lush greenery but not in too rustic a style, sticking to just white for their color palette. For the aisle flowers, we stuck to mostly greenery with a few pops of flowers, and the mirrored pedestals added a sleek edge to the overall feel. Our mandap was mirrored, too, with a generous, full border of white flowers draped across, including graceful strands of white orchids. The mirrored elements literally reflected the water of the bay facing the ceremony space. Focusing on just white for the flowers and using mirrors as an accent gave a sense of... Read More

Sleek, Modern and Stylish at Terranea

May 28, 2024 10:32 am

Sleek, shiny mirrors always bring a modern edge to a wedding. For Cassie and Chuckie’s celebration at Terranea Resort, we constructed a wedding arch of mirrored legs and softened it with a border of roses, hydrangeas, and phalaenopsis orchids, all in crisp white. We clustered a generous border of more white flowers along the base of the arch. Along with the white glossy stage and a glamorous mirrored aisle, the ceremony area had a sophisticated and polished look. We carried this theme into the ballroom, complementing the mirrored tables with more white flowers. The round tables featured tall candlesticks and clusters of smaller white floral arrangements. Single orchids hung delicately from above the dance floor, encircled by a border of... Read More

Delicate Baby’s Breath at the Beverly Hills Hotel

May 21, 2024 3:32 pm

You’ve never seen baby’s breath like this. The delicate flower grows in bunches full of tiny, delicate little blooms. Clustered together, they can be ‘sculpted’ to form beautiful and innovative shapes. For Koko and Victoria’s wedding, baby’s breath was the key to bringing our unique vision to life. We gave the bride an unforgettable backdrop to her preparations, bringing a floral wall into her getting-ready room. We also lined the spiral staircase at the home with white roses, adding a luxe look to her walk down the stairs to her ride for to the church. For the ceremony, we lined the church’s aisle with tasteful blush and ivory roses. Large urns framed the altar. We echoed the look of the... Read More

Whimsy and Wildflowers at Montage Laguna

May 14, 2024 10:03 am

A rainbow spectrum of soft shades of purple, yellow, coral, and pink created a luxurious yet playful setting for Marisa and Sahand’s September wedding at the Montage Laguna Niguel. Flowers like larkspur, delphinium and other wildflowers bordered the ceremony area and the aisle. The arch took on a more luxe feel, with roses anchoring the look. Daisies, chamomile, and cosmos added touches of texture and movement, along with accents of greenery. We also decorated the sofreh, designed by Afsaneh Sargordan, with more cheerful wildflowers, in shades of pink and lavender. Pastels filled the ballroom, from the clusters of roses, wildflowers, and dahlias on the table, to the flowers spilling from the ceiling. We added large magnolia trees for a whimsical... Read More
