The combination of gold and pink offers a mix of luxe and lush, both a soft touch and a distinct shot of glamour. Jamie and Ben wanted a perfect mix of blush and gold for their wedding at the Thunderbird Country Club. We also mixed in white and ivory to blend it all together into one gorgeous wedding. The ceremony arch and pedestals were in clear acrylic to add a modern flair to the overall design. Gold chiavari chairs perfectly complimented the florals, which included sprays of greenery painted gold. Clusters of pink roses and hydrangeas also accented with gold lined the aisle. For the reception, we crowned the seating chart with a living piece of art – a sculptural... Read More

Lillian and Isaac didn’t want a soft, subtle palette for their wedding – instead they asked for a bold and daring look with this combination of vivid reds, purples, and pinks, and eye-catching accents of pampas grass. This intensified color palette fit perfectly into the Langham Pasadena ballroom, with its gorgeous chandeliers and arched ceiling. The chuppah stretched the entire stage, flanked with amaranthus, roses, and various greenery. The mirrored legs of the chuppah allowed the colors to pop on their own. We used antique-style metal pedestals and vases for the reception pieces, and bridged long tables with stunning overhead arrangements of roses, hydrangea, and pepper tree. We’re so grateful to the bride and groom for collaborating with us on... Read More

An all-important element of wedding ceremony design, the chuppah provides symbolic shelter for a wedding couple, and a focal point for guests at the front of the aisle. Melissa and JL wanted something lush, rustic, and eye-popping. Utilizing greenery, white florals and whimsical branches of curly willow, we created a big-is-better chuppah that wowed guests and blended in perfectly with the beautiful grounds of the Empire Polo Field. The reception took place in a tent with sumptuous draping and more overflowing greenery. Pops of fresh white flowers aligned with the all-white draping and flooring, and the rustic chairs and sea-blue linens. Vintage-style globe lights hung within our custom ceiling installations of greenery. More greenery edged the stage, and even served... Read More

For Lilian and Isaac, we imagined design and aesthetic that infused color using fashionable yet timeless details. The wedding design featured a saturated color palette including hues of burgundy, purple, green, and blush set amidst the gorgeous interior of The Langham in Pasadena. The bride and groom said their vows under a bright and broad Chuppah adorned with an array of roses, amaranthus, and pepper berry greenery. Clear acrylic chairs used for both the ceremony and reception space seamlessly blended into the setting, leaving the focus entirely on the flowers. The bold colors carried into the reception, where the centerpieces varied in heights and design. Although each was incredibly unique and exquisite, most jaw-dropping were undoubtedly the long bridge style... Read More

It takes so many details to design a stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding. For this luxurious Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding at their Villa location, every aspect of the decor had to contribute to a rich, vibrant palette, from the deep red roses all around the portico at the ceremony to the swags of purple along the tent. In the ceremony area, we surrounded the existing portico with lush greenery and roses, with an aisle border to match. For the reception tables, we designed collections of compotes filled with red roses, and tapered red candles, and mercury votives. Purple napkins, gold rimmed chargers, and dove gray linens completed the look. And of course, we filled the beautiful fountain in front of the Villa... Read More

Roses and romance are one and the same when it comes to the symbolism of love, and this wedding was no exception. We created lush textures with ivory, pink, and mauve roses for the wedding ceremony, with a grand chuppah and matching floral arch. In the reception, we continued the look, adding a sense of lightness provided by sprays of orchids in the tabletop centerpieces. The stunning backdrop of the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel – as you can see by now, a favorite of ours – heightened the overall affect. See photos below by Jessica Claire, and special shout-out to Maryam Forutan from Delicate Details for running a smooth and successful wedding! Delicate roses hang down along the back of... Read More

The Millennium Biltmore has been a backdrop to many of our most lavish weddings. This historic hotel was the epicenter of Old Hollywood and now is a sought-after venue for luxury weddings. The ornate ceilings, draped balconies, and Deco details are one of a kind, providing endless wedding inspiration for floral design. For their wedding flowers, our couple wanted the fresh vitality of a garden with the glam of gold and glass accents. We worked with a palette of whites and ivory, in the form of roses, weaving in lush greenery for a springlike feel. Our design featured our custom metalwork, in the form of candle holders, as well as large bridge centerpieces and opulent urn pieces. Working alongside an... Read More

Hummingbird Nest Ranch is a space set apart from all others: A sprawling ranch turned event space, it features massive lawns and gorgeous architecture. With the Santa Susana Mountains as a backdrop, it’s a truly special place for a wedding. For this celebration, the clients wanted rich red to be a focus, along with luxurious amounts of greenery and vibrant corals, yellows, and light pink. And the chuppah had to be amazing. Of course, that’s one of our specialties, and we created a stunning chuppah with a light ombre effect. A Breathtaking Chuppah with Rich Red Roses The Chuppah featured a spectrum of color, carefully placed for a slight ombre affect, starting with rich red roses at the base of... Read More
