The outdoor ceremony location at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel has one of the best views in Southern California, and Katie and Ryan wanted to bring the outside in for the reception portion of their event, too. From a sumptuous overhead installation of greenery and orchids to the whimsical stage backdrop, the fresh elegance of the seaside ceremony continued inside the ballroom We created a refreshingly loose and pretty green and white arch for the ceremony, filled with ruscus, white roses, and hydrangeas. Sayumi and Kent’s wedding ceremony took place on the rooftop of the Montage Hotel, now known as The Maybourne Beverly Hills. Combining classical art and modern geometrical minimalism, we designed a wedding arch using transparent acrylic structures and white florals, focusing on roses and orchids. Manzanita branches stemming from the base of the structure was the perfect addition to add a unique, but graceful element to the design. White wooden boxes holding tall delphiniums lined the aisle to depict a lovely garden setting. The guests had a short walk to the reception held at the Beverly Wilshire, where the classical theme continued with sophisticated details and romantic shades of white. The wedding was timeless, classic, and elegant, with hints of magic garden. We combined the perfect amount of modern, glam details with a soft, romantic vibe using baby’s breath as the main design element for the ceremony space. In the ballroom, guests stepped into a magic garden created with a an abundance of beautiful white blooms and unique textured greens. One of a kind tree centerpieces grew from the tabletops to the ceiling where it met wisteria and green vines that gracefully hung all throughout the room and truly transformed the space into a dream.
