Special touches set each event apart. For Ayla and Bruce, that meant making the Crystal Garden at the Beverly Hills Hotel even more magical by installing lots of flowers and greenery overhead. Upside down roses and white orchids hung down above guests’ heads, along with lots of twinkle lights. We dressed the beautiful existing arch with blush, pink, and ivory roses and tons of greenery. The blush roses worked so well against the bride’s stunning nude-blush colored dress. Inside the ballroom, deep red and maroon flowers provided a vivid counterpoint to the light pinks of the room. Event designers think a lot about chairs. Yes, chairs. Back in the day, choices for seating for special events were few – as in, two types of chairs: folding and chiavari. Now, you have chameleon, Louis IV, Ghost chairs…the list goes on! This diverse array of colors and shapes in event chairs gives designers more elements to play with. For Alyson and Philip’s big day at Monarch Beach, we provided rich, textural white florals with touches of greenery to provide a pretty counterpoint to sleek, sophisticated black “Washington” and “Dior” chairs. David and Michelle’s Malibu wedding is the epitome of natural beauty from beginning to end, with breathtaking ocean views to top it off. The happy couple tied the knot under a fluffy floral chuppah, perfectly placed where the sun met the bright sky just behind to form a dreamy backdrop. At the base of the chuppah posts puddled a bed of baby’s breath and white delphiniums. Wooden cross back chairs with ivory cushions lined the ceremony, adding a nice rustic touch to the space. On a beautiful spring day, an even more beautiful couple wed during an upscale affair filled with sophisticated designs of crystal elements and lavish white florals. Held in the Crystal Garden at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, the ceremony was adorned with crystal chandeliers hung over the aisle, while their custom white posts beautifully designed with wild greens and white blooms seamlessly blended into the garden backdrop. It was a warm and intimate wedding filled with details that were equally elegant as incredibly special. Taylor and Fey exchanged vows under a towering arbor teeming with flowy, romantic blooms and lush greenery at Rancho Valencia. White urns filled with organic florals sat on either side of the aisle, creating the most charming entrance to the “I Do’s”. Elegant, romantic, and effortless with a touch of whimsy is the perfect description for Stephanie and Igal’s outdoor wedding. The bride and groom tied the knot under an ethereal chuppah adorned with garden roses and lisianthus, touches of curly willow and bountiful greens against the picturesque mountain backdrop at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. A raised catwalk completely lined with tall, white delphiniums and low greenery created a gorgeous walkway between the stunning chuppah and tall entrance arch that framed the front of the aisle. For Lilian and Isaac, we imagined design and aesthetic that infused color using fashionable yet timeless details. The wedding design featured a saturated color palette including hues of burgundy, purple, green, and blush set amidst the gorgeous interior of The Langham in Pasadena. The bride and groom said their vows under a bright and broad Chuppah adorned with an array of roses, amaranthus, and pepper berry greenery. Clear acrylic chairs used for both the ceremony and reception space seamlessly blended into the setting, leaving the focus entirely on the flowers.
