The San Francisco Design Center is an ideal backdrop for an event, with its streamlined architecture and highceilings. Shivani and Milap kept the palette perfect for the Center’s white walls and blond wood, asking us to work with soft, romantic colors, like blush and ivory. We also wove in lots of greenery, but still kept the overall look tailored, so as not to overwhelm the modern feel of the space. So, while our arch and centerpieces featured tons of texture, they were were still composed with a careful balance of color and texture. Juliana and Will chose springtime flowers like tulips for their wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. The result was pretty and stylish, with a modern spin – like the elegant bunches of calla lilies tied to the chiavari chairs along the wedding aisle. The chuppah was clear acrylic, allowing guests to see through it to the awe-inspiring view of mountains behind the Villa ceremony patio. We encrusted the top of the chuppah with dripping orchids, phalaenopsis orchids, and roses. We also decorated a custom wood display of shelves where guests found their escort cards with sprays of white flowers on each corner. A clear tent, tons of flowers, and lots of thoughtful touches gave Bridget and Tyler the stunning white wedding they wished for. First, we created a white-rose arch along the entrance of their church. Along with a dove release, this decor made for memorable photos of their grand exit from the ceremony! In the dramatic tented reception area, rows and rows (and rows!) of white flowers ringed an arrangement of tables encircling the dance floor. Glass-enclosed candles added a romantic flicker to the room. On round tables, we arranged grand displays of calla lilies, orchids, and roses, and long tables featured runners of more white flowers.
