Event designers think a lot about chairs. Yes, chairs. Back in the day, choices for seating for special events were few – as in, two types of chairs: folding and chiavari. Now, you have chameleon, Louis IV, Ghost chairs…the list goes on! This diverse array of colors and shapes in event chairs gives designers more elements to play with. Magical Green Garden Wedding at Monarch Beach Resort

Whimsical Black and White Wedding at Monarch Beach Resort

The couple decided on a chic black and white color palette that allowed their florals to shine. They said “I Do” at the Monarch Beach Resort surrounded by friends and family and an array of beautiful blooms. We created overflowing waves of white roses, phalaenopsis orchids, and greenery with a grand chuppah for the ceremony. Moving in the reception, we used the same color scheme, adding tulips, white dendrobium orchids, and hyacinths inside the ballroom. Tall, glamorous centerpieces on round tables were mixed with charming low florals nestled below crystal candelabras on long mirror top tables. Heavy candlelight throughout the room added warmth and comfort to the atmosphere.  Floral Design: Butterfly Floral and Event Design Planning: A Kate Carlson Event Photography: Dmitry Shumanev...
