The Reflection of Glamour at Saddlerock Ranch

September 12, 2023 11:53 am

There’s nothing like a little glam to add excitement and fun to a wedding design. For Rebecca and Ryan, we provided a mirror-covered chuppah bordered with orchids to give that lovely touch of glamour. We surrounded the chuppah’s posts with candles in glass hurricanes for a romantic feel. Mirrored tables and chargers literally reflected our cool white florals in the reception space. A mix of tall and short floral arrangements lined the long tables. White draping surrounded it all to set off the crisp, modern aesthetic. The showstopper was our massive ceiling installation of long, lush orchids. Even though it was the middle of the summer, the all-white mirrored glam made it feel like an idyllic winter wonderland. A Fall Wedding with Natural Charm

July 18, 2023 9:32 am

A fall wedding brings to mind rich autumnal colors, like copper, terra cotta, and goldenrod. For Mercedes and Kyle’s wedding at a private home, we created a gorgeous design full of vibrant textures and shades that brought both a natural charm and easy elegance to their celebration. The backyard of the home featured a pool, and we floated curves of rose petals in golden-yellow and burnt orange. We also lined a rustic wood aisle with arrangements of wildflowers, roses, and greenery in orange, red, coral, and even touches of blue. The dining tables featured tall centerpieces of rustic branches, greenery, and flowers. We also scattered pots in complimentary colors including copper and bronze. A delightful surprise: pots of mini peppers,... Read More

Vivid Pink at Calamigos Malibu

June 2, 2023 12:19 pm

Pink comes in so many shades – blush, fuchsia, mauve, hot pink – and the flower world offers lots of variations of this romantic color. So when Shruti and Alec came to us to design their Calamigos Malibu wedding, we couldn’t wait to use the wide spectrum of pinks available to us. First, the ceremony: We built a clear, modern mandap with acrylic and bordered the top with a mix of pink and ivory flowers. We also swagged a beautiful pink-mauve chiffon fabric along the top and sides of the structure. The ceremonial garlands for bride and groom featured purple-white and soft pink carnations, along with perfect stripes of deep green. At the reception, tall centerpieces displayed a variety of... Bringing the Ballroom Outside at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

May 10, 2023 9:58 am

One of our specialties is creating lush overhead installations of florals. Usually, you need a ballroom ceiling to do that type of thing! But working with the right vendors, we can create such drama anywhere. In this case, we worked with Town & Country Event Rentals to accent Alexandra and Mattan’s dance floor at their venue, Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Town and Country created a framework of trussing for us so we could safely attach our florals, and the result was a stunning installation of white orchids with accents of greenery. We also lined the arches of the Ranch’s architecture with lush garlands of more greenery and classically beautiful white flowers. Our chuppah echoed this color scheme, too, a gorgeous showpiece... Picture-Perfect Decor at the Taglyan Complex

April 18, 2023 4:35 pm

We want our couples to have a one-of-a-kind experience with us – by having a one of a kind wedding. Thanks to our construction and design team, we can execute amazing ideas from scratch. Vahe and Siuneh wanted unique designs for both their ceremony and reception spaces at the Taglyan Complex. For the ceremony, we combined three arch structures in a distinct overlapping setup and added movement and texture with cascades and accents of florals. A grand stage elevated the couple for their vows. Echoing a beautiful museum or grand home, the couple wanted gold picture frames on a bold black wall in their reception, and we delivered – expertly assembling handmade ‘frame’ details on the wall using intricate wood... Monochrome Glamor at Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach

March 29, 2023 10:50 am

Designing primarily with one color brings big-time impact to a wedding. For Kalina and Omeed’s luxurious Ritz Carlton Laguna Beach wedding, soft blush pink became the go-to shade for the reception, reflected in just about everything in the room: the upholstered chairs, our floral arrangements, even the draping along the walls. We lightened the ceremony with lots of white, including the aisle pieces; touches of blush added dimension to the wedding arch. Inside the ballroom, we crowned long tables with tall bridge arrangements dripping with white phalaenopsis orchids and blush roses, as well as lower arrangements for round tables. Lots of candlelight added romance to the already atmospheric and stunning space. Throughout, gold offered an upscale metallic counterpoint to the... Read More

Stunning Snow-White at Hillcrest Country Club

March 26, 2023 4:03 pm

You can’t go wrong with all white, especially for a peak-of-summer wedding like Emily and Don’s celebration at the Hillcrest Country Club. From their pup’s baby’s breath-wrapped leash to overflowing calla lilies and orchids, their entire wedding design featured this crisp, classic color. The gorgeous ceremony lawn at Hillcrest served as the ideal canvas for our ceremony setup: A composed chuppah covered entirely with white flowers, with rows of flowers lining the aisle and white urn arrangements at the beginning of the aisle. The Bedeken stage also featured curves of white flowers as a lovely backdrop to this tradition, and the escort card table featured a variety of white flowers. We did add a pop of blush to the low... A One-of-a-Kind Chuppah at Four Seasons Westlake

March 15, 2023 11:27 am

A chuppah is typically in the shape of four straight posts with a tallit shawl draped overhead. Among other things, the chuppah symbolizes the wedding couple’s new home that they will create together. This special meaning inspires us to be creative with our chuppahs. For Dorsa and Eliot’s wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we created gracefully curved branches instead of straight posts. We filled out the frame with lots of eucalyptus and greenery, sprinkled with fresh white flowers. Inside the ballroom, we kept things light and airy with more white florals and baby’s breath, as well as a mix of blush and pink arrangements for additional color. Gorgeous patterned lighting everywhere by Sky Lighting Productions gave additional dimension... Read More

Coral Crescents at Saddlerock Ranch

February 15, 2023 11:22 am

A unique ceremony backdrop is the key to creating a big impact during the exchange of vows. For Carolyne and Ben, we designed a series of crescent shapes encrusted with roses in shades of pink and coral. The result was truly eye popping, adding a sense of modern romance to the ceremony. The reception featured cool grays in the chairs and table tops, a perfect neutral complement to our coral and pink centerpieces. We broke up the pretty pinks with touches of light green hydrangeas and ruscus greenery. The round tables featured coral linens, upon which we perched tall, elegant centerpieces in a mix of light yellow, pink, coral and light green. Adding a modern touch were our gray concrete... Rich Red Wedding at Gulls Way in Malibu

January 9, 2023 12:57 pm

Gulls Way is a spacious estate right on the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California. Kelly and Dylan wanted to brig some drama to their beachside wedding by utilizing deep, bold red for their reception, and we were happy to oblige. We created red rose centerpieces that worked beautifully against white linens and black chairs. A gazebo structure formed a rigging point for twinkle lights that sparkled all night. The daytime ceremony called for a lighter, fresher look. Our lush arch of roses and greenery provided a pretty yet substantial backdrop to the couple’s vows. We added more florals at the base of the arch for a grounded feel, and created a matching arrangement in a classic urn for the escort... Read More
