White is a powerfully neutral color, allowing the personality and glamour of an event to truly shine. For Dina and Baron’s wedding at the Fairmont Century Plaza, we created classic arrangements with lots of white roses. Along with the plethora of candelabras lining the reception tables and the stunning chuppah dressed with orchids and more roses, lots and lots of candles added a romantic gleam. The wedding was a stunning display of timeless beauty, and we were delighted to be a part of it! Venue: Fairmont Century City Planner: Becker and The Co. Juliana and Will chose springtime flowers like tulips for their wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. The result was pretty and stylish, with a modern spin – like the elegant bunches of calla lilies tied to the chiavari chairs along the wedding aisle. The chuppah was clear acrylic, allowing guests to see through it to the awe-inspiring view of mountains behind the Villa ceremony patio. We encrusted the top of the chuppah with dripping orchids, phalaenopsis orchids, and roses. We also decorated a custom wood display of shelves where guests found their escort cards with sprays of white flowers on each corner. Guests’ tables had crisp white linens and clusters of glass vases of roses and tulips. Gold rimmed chargers and... Read More

You can’t go wrong with all white, especially for a peak-of-summer wedding like Emily and Don’s celebration at the Hillcrest Country Club. From their pup’s baby’s breath-wrapped leash to overflowing calla lilies and orchids, their entire wedding design featured this crisp, classic color. The gorgeous ceremony lawn at Hillcrest served as the ideal canvas for our ceremony setup: A composed chuppah covered entirely with white flowers, with rows of flowers lining the aisle and white urn arrangements at the beginning of the aisle. The Bedeken stage also featured curves of white flowers as a lovely backdrop to this tradition, and the escort card table featured a variety of white flowers. We did add a pop of blush to the low... A chuppah is typically in the shape of four straight posts with a tallit shawl draped overhead. Among other things, the chuppah symbolizes the wedding couple’s new home that they will create together. This special meaning inspires us to be creative with our chuppahs. For Dorsa and Eliot’s wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we created gracefully curved branches instead of straight posts. We filled out the frame with lots of eucalyptus and greenery, sprinkled with fresh white flowers. Inside the ballroom, we kept things light and airy with more white florals and baby’s breath, as well as a mix of blush and pink arrangements for additional color. Gorgeous patterned lighting everywhere by Sky Lighting Productions gave additional dimension... Read More

The Hotel Bel-Air is a legendary A-lister hideaway tucked into the hills of Los Angeles. Lauren and Blake wanted their guests to feel like they were in a lush and beautiful retreat. Their wedding took place at the hotel’s iconic outdoor locations – the lake, inhabited by graceful swans, and a lawn nestled among the hotel, where we hung swathes of greenery and flowers along a wood arbor. Along with twinkle lights that echoed a starry night, the feel was truly that of a magical getaway. The ceremony arch featured lots of greenery and pops of white flowers. In the reception space, we hung tons of ruscus greenery on the trellis over the head table and designed pink and white... Read More

MIssion Bay is a waterway in San Diego, a picturesque area perfect for weddings. Michelle and JR’s wedding ceremony was not only by this beautiful bay, thanks to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina – but their reception took place near another body of water: the pool area of a gorgeous private home! We complimented their venues with reflective clear features – like crystals hanging down an acrylic chuppah. We also wove in tons of white to create this light and airy wedding design. The ceremony featured the stunning chuppah, accented with not only lots of clear crystals, but a rich adornment of orchids along the top. Clear chiavari chairs perfectly complemented the acrylic chuppah. The reception featured... Read More

For many weddings, the wedding chuppah is the first thing guests see and presents an opportunity to make a big impact with wedding design. Most importantly, the chuppah is an important symbol of Jewish weddings. We try to make every chuppah special and unique, and for Nicole and Mateen’s Saddlrock Ranch wedding, we created a large, lush structure to shelter the couple and their family during their wedding vows. Tree trunks supported the chuppah, and each corner held full greenery and flowers; the chuppah looked as if it were created by four trees. We collected white wildflowers at the base of each ‘tree’.’ Natural florals lined the white catwalk aisle for a cohesive, organic look. We added gold accents to... Read More

We love unexpected color combinations. For their elegant affair at the Langham Pasadena, Sarah and Matt wanted white florals and lots of greenery, but with pops of bright yellow and orange, too. We couldn’t wait to make this vibrant palette come to life. Sarah and Matt’s chuppah was one of the most unique we’ve ever created. We twined long strands of branches through drifts of fern and greenery, and added lots of white roses. Sprinkles of orange and yellow spray roses – spray roses are the smaller ‘cousins’ of standard-size roses – gave a cheerful vibrancy to the chuppah. In the ballroom, short and tall centerpieces featured the same base of loose greenery and and white flowers, with orange roses... Read More

Los Angeles is known for its unique wedding venues, and Stone Mountain provides yet another one-of-a-kind space to celebrate. Tucked in the mountains near Malibu, this intimate space offers stunning views and a beautiful round stone helipad. Stone Mountain is perfect for smaller events, and often requires a ‘flip’ of the space from ceremony to reception, but Anna and Alexander wanted to have separate ceremony and reception spaces, so they covered the pool on property. We created a grand pink and ivory ceremony arch against crisp white drapery for a high-impact look with modern touches. The reception space took place on the round stone helipad, with sail-like drapery providing shade for guests. Tall centerpieces matching the ceremony florals carried through... Read More

Our unique spin on this wedding truly had guests talking. Lauren and Robin married at a stunning Bel Air estate high above the city, and wanted to reflect this magical setting with a cool, elegant design with lots of baby’s breath and a Steel gray accent. The ceremony chuppah, decorated solely with baby’s breath, reflected the clouds above. The light airiness of the look was literally reflected by a glimmering mirrored ceremony aisle, and baby’s breath lined the aisle as well. The reception featured all gray furniture and chairs, and carpet too, for a chic monochromatic design. Collections of white flowers lined each long table, and tall baby’s breath centerpiece accented with clusters of white orchids towered above the round... Read More
