There’s nothing like a little glam to add excitement and fun to a wedding design. For Rebecca and Ryan, we provided a mirror-covered chuppah bordered with orchids to give that lovely touch of glamour. We surrounded the chuppah’s posts with candles in glass hurricanes for a romantic feel. Mirrored tables and chargers literally reflected our cool white florals in the reception space. A mix of tall and short floral arrangements lined the long tables. White draping surrounded it all to set off the crisp, modern aesthetic. The showstopper was our massive ceiling installation of long, lush orchids. Even though it was the middle of the summer, the all-white mirrored glam made it feel like an idyllic winter wonderland. A unique ceremony backdrop is the key to creating a big impact during the exchange of vows. For Carolyne and Ben, we designed a series of crescent shapes encrusted with roses in shades of pink and coral. The result was truly eye popping, adding a sense of modern romance to the ceremony. The reception featured cool grays in the chairs and table tops, a perfect neutral complement to our coral and pink centerpieces. We broke up the pretty pinks with touches of light green hydrangeas and ruscus greenery. The round tables featured coral linens, upon which we perched tall, elegant centerpieces in a mix of light yellow, pink, coral and light green. Adding a modern touch were our gray concrete... Imagine getting married in the middle of December, outdoors, by the ocean. Here in California, it’s totally doable given our mild winters. Arielle and Josh took great advantage of our spring-like winter season, and had a beautiful ceremony right in front of the sea at Terranea. We provided a dreamy, romantic look to go along with their magical day. For the ceremony, we provided aisle pieces and in a mix of light pink, blush, and ivory flowers. Terranea’s ceremony pergola was covered in more flowers, plus pops of phalaenopsis orchids for additional movement and texture. Inside the ballroom, the stage featured a stunning backdrop of more florals, as well as lots more along the edge of the stage for an eye-popping... Read More

Gulls Way is a spacious estate right on the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California. Kelly and Dylan wanted to brig some drama to their beachside wedding by utilizing deep, bold red for their reception, and we were happy to oblige. We created red rose centerpieces that worked beautifully against white linens and black chairs. A gazebo structure formed a rigging point for twinkle lights that sparkled all night. The daytime ceremony called for a lighter, fresher look. Our lush arch of roses and greenery provided a pretty yet substantial backdrop to the couple’s vows. We added more florals at the base of the arch for a grounded feel, and created a matching arrangement in a classic urn for the escort... Read More

MIssion Bay is a waterway in San Diego, a picturesque area perfect for weddings. Michelle and JR’s wedding ceremony was not only by this beautiful bay, thanks to the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa And Marina – but their reception took place near another body of water: the pool area of a gorgeous private home! We complimented their venues with reflective clear features – like crystals hanging down an acrylic chuppah. We also wove in tons of white to create this light and airy wedding design. The ceremony featured the stunning chuppah, accented with not only lots of clear crystals, but a rich adornment of orchids along the top. Clear chiavari chairs perfectly complemented the acrylic chuppah. The reception featured... Read More

The Beverly Hilton features not only the ballroom where the Golden Globes and other prestigious events take place, but gorgeously neutral ballrooms for special celebrations, too. Aleen and Anthony chose one of these ballrooms for their very own prestigious event – their wedding! Gleaming gold was everywhere, from the glossy dance floor to the cutlery to the chargers. Our all-white floral palette aligned perfectly with the golden luster. We installed hanging roses and orchids above the dance floor, and garlands and cascades of white roses unfurled off of guest and sweetheart tables. Large centerpieces provided a backdrop for the cake, too, giving the room another indulgent focal point. The final touch: tons of flickering candles encased in clear class. Get... Read More

Draping a ballroom can set off the space with instant high impact. For Marina and Anthony’s wedding, sage green draping made all the difference. This shade of green is a soft but stylish color that offered a perfect counterpoint to the white and pink reception decor. We designed floral garlands, tall centerpieces, and bridge pieces of mauve baby’s breath, pink roses and dahlias, and white phalaenopsis orchids. Glossy white tables, white carpet, and upholstered white chairs let the pink palette of the flowers truly shine. The floral decor stood out even more against the sage green background. Accenting the tabletops were smaller arrangements and bud vases of roses, dahlias, and hydrangea – and of course, tons of candles! Photos by... Read More

Perla and James wanted to truly wow their guests with exciting, high-impact setpieces at their winter wedding at the Bellagio. They married in a nearby church, for which we provided pretty aisle pieces and light florals, saving the razzle-dazzle for the reception. In the ballroom, which was made a blank canvas thanks to white carpet and draping, we created a stunning showpiece of mirrored columns with swaths of floral garlands and drifts of long white orchids hanging down from above. Even more special – A draped walkway lead guests to the reception space, creating an immersive feel right from the beginning of the event experience! Take it all in with Lighthouse Photocinema‘s photos, below! Floral Design: Butterfly Floral and Event Design... Read More

Yael and Coby’s Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding took full advantage of the outdoor setting. A clear tent allowed guests to still see the starry sky at night, and the ceremony backdrop was a stunning view of the mountains. Wildflower aisle pieces and dreamy, airy white flowers and branches on the chuppah added to the classic but outdoorsy feel. We accented the white florals with blush candle sticks along the dining tables, which vibed perfectly with the gold dinnerware and blush glassware. Chiffon runners gently added a focal point to the tables as well. Ruscus greenery floated down from the top of tent, for a perfect final touch. Check out all the beauty below, in photos by M. The past two years has offered many challenges to the event industry and couples wishing to marry during the pandemic. In this case, a family member owned a gym in Oxnard, empty during the quarantine. In a stunning transformation, the space was transformed into a gorgeous art-deco-chic setting for Daniella and Tzvai’s wedding. With drapery and our massive installation of orchids, the ceremony space was a white wonderland. We assembled an array of tall crystal candlesticks, clouds of orchids, hydrangea and roses, and a stunning transparent chuppah with a crown of even more orchids. Along with a glossy white catwalk aisle and carpet, the entire space was all white and all-amazing. The reception looked straight out of a classic movie,... Read More
