For Lilian and Isaac, we imagined design and aesthetic that infused color using fashionable yet timeless details. The wedding design featured a saturated color palette including hues of burgundy, purple, green, and blush set amidst the gorgeous interior of The Langham in Pasadena. The bride and groom said their vows under a bright and broad Chuppah adorned with an array of roses, amaranthus, and pepper berry greenery. Clear acrylic chairs used for both the ceremony and reception space seamlessly blended into the setting, leaving the focus entirely on the flowers. The bold colors carried into the reception, where the centerpieces varied in heights and design. Lauren and David decided to tie the knot in one of San Francisco’s most iconic art museums, the Legion of Honor. In a place that is already so majestic on it’s own, you have to be precise in planning florals and design that accentuate its elegance. In choosing garden-style floral arrangements and a neutral color palette, we were able effortlessly dress up the clean lines and historic charm of the venue. The ceremony took place outdoors on the main lawn with a gorgeous view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Clouds of baby’s breath-lined the aisle that led to a remarkable chuppah constructed of four oversized trees overflowing with eucalyptus. Many of the weddings we design host literally hundreds of people – huge events with lots of guests. But some of the smaller, more intimate affairs are just as innovative design-wise as our larger events. For this wedding of less than 75 guests, the couple wanted to add architectural designs to their florals, and we were happy to oblige, from the circle of roses behind the couple – that later accented the cake table – to the lush flower wall behind the sweetheart table. As always, we enjoyed working with the confident and capable Katie Lee from Bella Destinee, and photographer Andy Seo. Gold chairs by Palace Party Rental vibed perfectly with the soft whites and ivories of the florals.... Read More
