Real Wedding: Tented Elegance at Hummingbird Nest Wedding

May 4, 2019 2:13 am

It takes so many details to design a stunning, one-of-a-kind wedding. For this luxurious Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding at their Villa location, every aspect of the decor had to contribute to a rich, vibrant palette, from the deep red roses all around the portico at the ceremony to the swags of purple along the tent. In the ceremony area, we surrounded the existing portico with lush greenery and roses, with an aisle border to match. Branches of cherry blossom and rustic elements created this stunning chuppah. Delicate glass bulbs hung down from tall stands of orchids and babys breath on the long tables in the ballroom. A mix of tall centerpieces and lower arrangements alternated throughout the space. Palace Party Rental’s chairs alternated between gold and white. A dramatic installation of orchids and babys breath –... Read More

Who doesn’t love greenery? When the rustic trend came upon the wedding world a few years ago, it thrilled designers and florists everywhere. Greenery can be used to add lush depth and dimension to wedding floral design. For this sumptuous wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we used tons (well, not literally – but close!) of pepper tree, eucalyptus, and other foliage to create a dreamy look for our couple. Lin and Jirsa captured it all on camera, and Maryam Forutan, owner of Delicate Details, helped ensure all elements of this amazing wedding came together beautifully. A Chuppah with Greenery and White Flowers The centerpiece of the wedding ceremony was this chuppah, overflowing with greenery, amaranthus, and white and... Read More
