Spring-like Beauty at the Banker’s Ballroom

September 5, 2023 1:23 pm

This wedding combined a fresh, spring-like feel with the ornate decadence of the Banker’s Ballroom in Fresno. Gorgeous, long burgundy curtains and gold ceiling molding set an opulent scene in the space. Matching this look with the floral design could appear too heavy, so our team created arrangements of greenery and white flowers that, while no less dramatic than their surroundings, offered an elegant yet airy feel to the room. At the church, we provided gorgeous urn pieces overflowing with ruscus greenery and matching aisle pieces that hung on every other pew. The bride’s bouquet was bursting with fresh, puffy peonies. Back at the ballroom, a massive head table (for the nearly two-dozen bridal party attendants!) was decked out in... Read More

Secluded Romance in Ojai

July 11, 2023 1:21 pm

Ojai has a magic feel to it – you’re just a couple hours from the city of Los Angeles, but it feels like it’s in another universe. Lots of rolling hills and an amazing countryside give the property a romantic seclusion – the perfect place to celebrate a wedding. For Dina and Mark’s wedding at the Ojai Valley Inn, we kept things pretty and light with white flowers and greenery. From the hedge behind their seating chart to greenery forming a diamond pattern for a band backdrop, all that foliage gave an organic yet elegant feel to the event. Our chuppah was a grand, stunning structure covered with a varied pattern of greenery and featuring pops of white flowers. Draping... Read More

Bringing the Ballroom Outside at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

May 10, 2023 9:58 am

One of our specialties is creating lush overhead installations of florals. Usually, you need a ballroom ceiling to do that type of thing! But working with the right vendors, we can create such drama anywhere. In this case, we worked with Town & Country Event Rentals to accent Alexandra and Mattan’s dance floor at their venue, Hummingbird Nest Ranch. Town and Country created a framework of trussing for us so we could safely attach our florals, and the result was a stunning installation of white orchids with accents of greenery. We also lined the arches of the Ranch’s architecture with lush garlands of more greenery and classically beautiful white flowers. Our chuppah echoed this color scheme, too, a gorgeous showpiece... A One-of-a-Kind Chuppah at Four Seasons Westlake

March 15, 2023 11:27 am

A chuppah is typically in the shape of four straight posts with a tallit shawl draped overhead. Among other things, the chuppah symbolizes the wedding couple’s new home that they will create together. This special meaning inspires us to be creative with our chuppahs. For Dorsa and Eliot’s wedding at the Four Seasons Westlake Village, we created gracefully curved branches instead of straight posts. We filled out the frame with lots of eucalyptus and greenery, sprinkled with fresh white flowers. Inside the ballroom, we kept things light and airy with more white florals and baby’s breath, as well as a mix of blush and pink arrangements for additional color. Gorgeous patterned lighting everywhere by Sky Lighting Productions gave additional dimension... Read More

Pretty Romance at Calamigos Ranch

December 2, 2022 1:07 pm

Calamigos Ranch offers a whimsical, pastoral venue for weddings. Jessika and Adrian married among the dreamy trees and hanging lights in the Pavilion ceremony space; then, guests partied among nearby carnival rides and under Calamigos’ elegant tent. Our round ceremony structure, decorated with white roses, served as a dramatic backdrop for the couple. The natural mix of white flowers and greenery continued through the cocktail hour and reception space. We dressed the fireplace mantel with lots of gorgeous flowers, and moved the ceremony backdrop to the reception space to add visual impact to the sweetheart table. Dreamy Touches at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

July 12, 2022 8:35 am

Yael and Coby’s Hummingbird Nest Ranch wedding took full advantage of the outdoor setting. A clear tent allowed guests to still see the starry sky at night, and the ceremony backdrop was a stunning view of the mountains. Wildflower aisle pieces and dreamy, airy white flowers and branches on the chuppah added to the classic but outdoorsy feel. We accented the white florals with blush candle sticks along the dining tables, which vibed perfectly with the gold dinnerware and blush glassware. Chiffon runners gently added a focal point to the tables as well. Ruscus greenery floated down from the top of tent, for a perfect final touch. Check out all the beauty below, in photos by M. Uniquely Beautiful at Carondelet House

July 5, 2022 5:47 pm

Carondelet House is one of the most distinctive venues in Los Angeles. The building is a former residence of an architect – and it shows. Tons of unique details abound, from the rich brick walls to the warm wood beams overhead to the charming little courtyard in the middle of the space. It’s no surprise wedding couples flock to Carondelet House to celebrate their weddings. Donna and Michael wanted a rustic but artful design; we created an asymmetrical border of greenery and orchids for a stunning framework to their vows. The ceremony chairs, a blend of natural woods and styles, offered a lighter counterpoint to the dark greenery, for a perfect balance. We brought in more lightness to the reception... Read More

A Wedding Chuppah Like No Other at Empire Polo Field

November 3, 2021 1:51 am

An all-important element of wedding ceremony design, the chuppah provides symbolic shelter for a wedding couple, and a focal point for guests at the front of the aisle. Melissa and JL wanted something lush, rustic, and eye-popping. Utilizing greenery, white florals and whimsical branches of curly willow, we created a big-is-better chuppah that wowed guests and blended in perfectly with the beautiful grounds of the Empire Polo Field. The reception took place in a tent with sumptuous draping and more overflowing greenery. Pops of fresh white flowers aligned with the all-white draping and flooring, and the rustic chairs and sea-blue linens. Vintage-style globe lights hung within our custom ceiling installations of greenery. More greenery edged the stage, and even served... Read More

Magical Green Garden Wedding at Monarch Beach Resort

February 19, 2021 3:15 am

Standing at the center of the Pacific Lawn at the Monarch Beach Resort, a grand greenery chuppah easily commanded the ceremony space. Constructed from natural wooden posts covered in green ivy and moss, the top was blossoming with a lush creation of pepper berry and assorted white florals. The couple opted for a custom chuppah rather than use the existing hotel gazebo so that they could uniquely arrange their ceremony in a round, easily giving all guests a great view for their vows. A long-mirrored catwalk was built specifically for the occasion and beautifully reflected the long row of pillar candles that bordered the aisle on each side. The romantic greenery continued in the reception, where custom pergolas were created... Read More

Classic Elegance in the Crystal Garden

February 17, 2021 3:01 am

On a beautiful spring day, an even more beautiful couple wed during an upscale affair filled with sophisticated designs of crystal elements and lavish white florals. Held in the Crystal Garden at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, the ceremony was adorned with crystal chandeliers hung over the aisle, while their custom white posts beautifully designed with wild greens and white blooms seamlessly blended into the garden backdrop. The perfect union between shades of white and green throughout the space created an enchanting scenery, keeping it both whimsical and elegant at the same time. Bride Anna and Groom Eddie said their “I Do’s” under a chuppah of romantic white florals, including roses, hydrangea and phalaenopsis orchids, joined by luscious greenery. Moving... Read More
