A clear tent, tons of flowers, and lots of thoughtful touches gave Bridget and Tyler the stunning white wedding they wished for. First, we created a white-rose arch along the entrance of their church. Along with a dove release, this decor made for memorable photos of their grand exit from the ceremony! In the dramatic tented reception area, rows and rows (and rows!) of white flowers ringed an arrangement of tables encircling the dance floor. Glass-enclosed candles added a romantic flicker to the room. On round tables, we arranged grand displays of calla lilies, orchids, and roses, and long tables featured runners of more white flowers. Guests loved the single rose bloom on each place setting. We always love creating... Read More

You can’t go wrong with all white, especially for a peak-of-summer wedding like Emily and Don’s celebration at the Hillcrest Country Club. From their pup’s baby’s breath-wrapped leash to overflowing calla lilies and orchids, their entire wedding design featured this crisp, classic color. The gorgeous ceremony lawn at Hillcrest served as the ideal canvas for our ceremony setup: A composed chuppah covered entirely with white flowers, with rows of flowers lining the aisle and white urn arrangements at the beginning of the aisle. The Bedeken stage also featured curves of white flowers as a lovely backdrop to this tradition, and the escort card table featured a variety of white flowers. We did add a pop of blush to the low... Unlikely combinations of colors and textures are what we LIVE for here at Butterfly! When Shirin and Arsalan wanted to bring in black to a rustic theme at their Saddlerock Ranch wedding, we were 100% in. We made the black element work by keeping the rest of the color palette simple: White with greenery. Greenery bought in the rustic texture, and white gave the black a clean-cut, pristine counterpoint. We wound ruscus and white flowers around black arches on their ceremony aisle, and kept the greenery at a minimum for their all-white centerpieces in the reception. This monochromatic approach at the reception let the rustic wood of their tables really shine. The black napkins and chairs at the reception tables... Read More

A winter wedding has its own unique and stunning appeal – especially in the mountains of Aspen. Little Nell served as the venue for Arielle and Caleb’s absolutely gorgeous wedding, a collaboration with the amazing Mindy Weiss and her team. To echo the snow-covered horizon of the ceremony space, we built a chuppah covered with fluffy white baby’s breath, and another white-floral arch leading back to the dinner and dancing space. The all-white theme continued in the reception, with tons of white orchids hanging from the ceiling and classic white rose and orchid arrangements lining the tables. Dramatic white draping with generous garlands of white flowers shrouded the entryway. Catch all the glamorous magic below, in photos by James x... Read More

We love the crisp romanticism of an all-white wedding. Shabnam and Samer wanted every aspect of their affair at the Montage Laguna Beach to be modern yet lush. We created a nearly all-white design with little pops of fresh, springlike green. The ceremony sofreh featured tall centerpieces dripping with orchids. We flanked each side of the aisle with tall white wildflowers for a seamless look. Along with the clean white aisle and stage – plus stylish upholstered seats for the bride and groom – the overall look was perfection. At the reception, a beautiful arch with cherry blossoms and hanging crystals served as a photo-ready backdrop for the sweetheart table, itself draping with tons of flowers. The reception tables featured... Read More

The past two years has offered many challenges to the event industry and couples wishing to marry during the pandemic. In this case, a family member owned a gym in Oxnard, empty during the quarantine. In a stunning transformation, the space was transformed into a gorgeous art-deco-chic setting for Daniella and Tzvai’s wedding. With drapery and our massive installation of orchids, the ceremony space was a white wonderland. We assembled an array of tall crystal candlesticks, clouds of orchids, hydrangea and roses, and a stunning transparent chuppah with a crown of even more orchids. Along with a glossy white catwalk aisle and carpet, the entire space was all white and all-amazing. The reception looked straight out of a classic movie,... Read More

What seem like small details add up to impactful design statements at wedding ceremonies. For Michelle and Ryan’s event, we criss-crossed orchids along the structural supports of their wedding chuppah for a beautiful diamond pattern, emblematic of the bride’s engagement ring and symbolic of their lives joining forever. We worked with a palette of crisp white with mirrored accents, including the chic mirror seating ‘chart’. Inside the reception space – draped to set off the drama of the decor – we lined tables with sumptuous centerpieces and garlands of white florals, cascading down to the floor. The mirror theme continued with Oz chairs and tables. Clear chargers and black napkins completed this stylish, contemporary look. The true showstopper here –... Read More

Bright, pretty florals and a seaside backdrop gave April and Nathaniel’s wedding a breezy yet composed feel. We used delphinium, hydrangea, and roses throughout the wedding, with touches of baby’s breath to add movement and lightness to the look. The intimate ceremony featured a glossy white aisle and a classic arch framing the bride and groom. The arch, in all white, blended with the cool blue of the sea for a stunning backdrop to the wedding ceremony. Springlike florals lined the aisle. The reception featured chic white vases with classically styled collections of roses, ranunculus, hydrangeas, and occasional pops of orchids. Gold silverware, elegant menus, and etched glassware added the perfect finishing touches to the table decor. We love overflowing... Read More

While this stunning wedding at Hummingbirds Nest Ranch took place in the summer, the aesthetic brought a refreshing cool wintry feel to the event. Ilene and Robert wanted an all white palette with gray and metallic accents. We designed a chuppah with drifts of white orchids; the mirrored legs of the chuppah added a touch of glamour. Candles lined the glossy white aisle for a clean look. In the reception tent, mirrored tables, a metallic stage backdrop, and gunmetal-gray napkins offered brilliant and modern counterpoints to our white florals. Tall centerpieces on the round tables offered height and drama; collections of grand candelabras, tall centerpieces, and vases of flowers like tulips and lisianthus lined the long tables. We love when... Read More

With the popularity of outdoor garden weddings, especially in California, it can feel new and exciting to design a timeless, white ballroom affair. David and Ramona’s wedding at the historic Jonathan Club in Downtown LA was as perfectly classic and elegant as they come. Both the couple’s ceremony and reception took place in the dark, wooded lower level ballroom at the social club. The ceremony’s focal design was a white draped chuppah with a lush frame of all white flowers, including garden roses, hydrangea, and phalaenopsis orchids. Complimenting floral bouquets were created around the center of the back posts adding even more beauty to the structure. In the reception, the classic all white color palette continued, joined by gold accents... Read More
