Anu and Akshay chose the celebrated wedding planner David Tutera to make their dream wedding come to life. The vision was pinks of all shades, in thoughtfully artistic arrangements, from a spiral around each column of the mandap to puffs of pink baby’s breath. The Beverly Wilshire Hotel had the perfect setup to host the wedding, with a built in stage and raised levels, giving guests the perfect view of the celebration.
All eyes were on the mandap thanks to the in-the-round setup, with the mandap surrounded on all sides by chairs. The flowing orchids and roses created a natural frame to the couple as they took part in the traditional rituals and traditions of an Indian wedding.
Pink-dusted baby’s breath cascaded around the ballroom, and tall centerpieces bursting with pink roses and touches of green decorated the reception tables. Blush-pink brocade linens and gold chameleon chairs set off the bright pinks for a perfect palette for this lushly beautiful design. We also gave a gold sheen to eucalyptus greenery for a luxe touch to centerpieces throughout the room.
David’s team designed a floor plan around a diagonally positioned dance floor, yet another standout element to this wedding.
